no evidence other than what i've read on other websites, hence the use of the rumour word. Perhaps, it is true given the lack of consistancy between decisions, from game to game. For example goal scoring opportunity stopped by foul and player is not even booked. Yet, same ref does send off player following week for similar offence, and presumably after a word in his ear by ref supervisor. Maybe, that is the real problem and not bias. With the lack of refs comming through the system, perhaps they are being pushed on by the SFA, way before there are anywhere near compentent to control a top level game.

can you imagine your team being 1 up with a few minutes to play. On top of time wasting with play acting, we are going to get appeals just to break up play. Any such option would be abused and probably damage what would be a good idea.
-
Just like in any top league or competition their is a bias towards the bigger teams. Is it soley down to fan intimidation, or a self preservation? Whats worrying for me is that the refs dont seem to understand or know the rules of the game to a compentent level, if the rumours of test failures are true. Seems madness that a ref can only know half the rules, but still be allowed to control a top league game.

how much more does a club need to do, before the authorities throw the book at them. After all, surely UEFA would back one of their own associations.
-
The game has been in decline for many years, and the authorities have done nothing, whilst picking up nice earnings along the way. The authorities have pandered to the old firm since day one, and see where that has got us. Nothing will change after this token gesture by the refs. Money has ruined the game, and for me the top end of the football pyramid is boring and predictable. Perhaps the fans need to go on strike to show we've had enough. After all without fans their is no game. The standard of players not just refs is appalling given the amount of money those individuals pick up each week.

I presume that Levein and Stark dont talk, as you would assume he would promote Murphy ahead of Goodwillie, given he's a first pick for the u21's. Murphy has been on fire recently, and is improving week on week, and is probably our most important player. As for Saunders, he's good in the air and tall! Levein e-fit there!! Reynolds has pace and is versatile, which is something Scotland does not have at the back. It seems madness not to even bring him into the squad. I would hope that a journalist with Motherwell tendances would ask Levein to justify his picks. As for the game it's self, why bother watching it? We know he's going to play safety first football, and hope that we knick a 1 nil. Levein by picking brutes over finesse/technique and ability will put us further back in the game. He aint in it to develop our game or for the long term. It's all about his CV of not losing.

see today we had 4 players booked yet again from McDonald. The guy is a joke, and it's time the club stood up for it's players. This nicey nice approach with refs aint getting us anywhere.
-
tell you what the edinburgh clubs are certainly getting alot of luck just now. It wont last. Craigan is Craigan, he is just as easy to win us the points with a last ditch tackle, as give three away with a blunder. He'll never change.
-
shock horror as hibs ref rules offside and rules out equaliser. Its about time we kicked up a stink and especially at McDonald as he constantly gets keys decisions wrong that is stopping us getting back into games at worst.
-
blackman's all round game was brilliant. Saints could not handle him at all, and his three goals help of course.
-
humphrey, blackman and murphy were very sharp and direct tonight and totally destroyed the saints defence. Going forward, when we could be bothered, we were dangerous. The defence had their moments but big Randolph got them out of jail. Hammell had a torrid time, tho stuck to the task.

going to be a tough game, as it always is against them at Fir Park. It's time our players showed the same belief and determination, as they do when away from home. They need to be up for this, and get in about them from the 1st minute to last.

When i heard McDonald is going to ref our game, the first thought that went into my head, is how many of our players is he going to book or sent off. Whilst, we might have won the fair play league and been relatively well behaved in recent years, that counts for nothing when Dougie is in town. Referee's do have a difficult job, but to many now want to be the center of attention, and get away with awful peformances time after time. If a referee admits to lying, then his integrity has gone, and there should be no way back. Football in Scotland has a had a smell of corruption for a long time, and at the first chance to make an example of the referee, like they would if it was a player or manager, has been deliberately missed. No wonder fans are disillusioned and staying away from the game, when everything is geared to benefit the old firm, stop competitiveness and fairness, and officials who are hell bent in being the panto villian. If McDonald makes an erse of it, which he will, i hope our board of directors take a similar approach as Celtic, as it seems, unless you shout, you'll get nothing.

can we play away every week brilliant result.
-
aye perhaps, but that pish beat us the day! and constantly give us problems.
-
bad results are never far away when you support the 'well. But when you hear Craigan say there is no feeling of edge in the club about an up comming derby game, then is it any suprise that our players failed to turn up today. It would seem Hamilton were up for it, but we were not! The mentality is all wrong, and especially for a derby game. Don't we use the sports psychologist any more? As it's only confidence that seperates all teams outwith the old firm. It seems our teams approach and setup is not suited for home games, where we are expected to take the game to the opposition. As for penalties, it takes bottle to take one, and even more bottle to step up and take another once you've missed previously. The guys just need to practice and practice on ALL there set pieces.
-
brilliant. another confidence builder.
-
great win today. As for the cup game, bring it on.
-
all i hope for is a reaction and win in the next game, after the rangers defeat. All to easy to go on a losing run in this league.
-
football is a frustrating game. No point in getting upset over a defeat against the old firm away from home, as it happens time after time. Results have reasonable went our way today as we are still third.
-
every team in the league outwith the old firm give away cheap goals. Thats why the players play for us and not the old firm.
-
The difference is Rangers have experienced pro's who are of better quality in the better or more important areas of the pitch. We need to play at the top of our game and hope that their better players have an off day. Thats where the financial disadvantages has taken us in the modern game. We did very well first half, but then we lose concentration, as always, and they get a lift, and then with home support, raise their game, and well we know the rest. If we are to beat Rangers, it will be at Fir Park, games at Ibrox and Parkhead are write offs and basically should be forgotten about very quickly.
-
cannae believe that! especially at Ibrox. We Walter has obviously changed tactics and Brownie has failed to react.
-
not so sure about bottle. It's concentration thats the problem, and making the game to open. Rangers midfield is being allowed easily to run at our defence. All seems to have happened after Lasley got booked. In hindsight Gow and Forbes should have been on for the start of second half.
-
midfield has disappeared and rangers are running all over the top of our defence. pathetic again. this is going to get embarrasing.
