leitch's move is not really an issue surely given many did not want him anywhere near the managers job. Perhaps he read the forums, and decided he did not need the hassle.
-
Gary as manager and luc as number 2 Surely we need to get a manager who not only wants to do well in the short term, but also a manager who wants to develop and bring through our youth. I was never convinced McGhee was bothered about that side of things, i.e. last game of season playing the old guard. p.s. please lets look beyond the old sfa guard, i.e. brown, duffy & co. As for wee tommy, football has moved on and im not so sure our poor wee lambs (players) could cope or put up with his tantrums and bullying.
-
mcghee has been messing about with the team all season, and seems to have a short memory with regards to decisions which dont work, i.e. lasley at right back. We might get more effort and determination from the youngsters.
-
we gifted falkirk 3 points today. Our defence was a nightmare. Lasley should never play right back ever again. Why get sheridan, who could not mark his own shaddow, to mark scobie at a corner. Why did McGarry run away from goal when thru on the goalie?? Young murphy did more in his short time on the field than Sutton & McGarry combined. So many questions yet again from an inept performance. On todays performance it would appear not many want to be here next season. If we only sign one player, it needs to be a leader who can organise and motivate the guys on the park.

Hughes and a few others might indeed move on, but does anyone really expect they will be replaced or indeed the redirection of their wages into the budget. Clubs are going to squeeze finances again next season, and our squad will be shrunk once again, like most other recent seasons. I can see us having 12 senior players and rest of the squad made up with youth players. On the back of a successful season and player sales which helped bring in extra revenue and no reinvestment in the team, are we living in cuckoo land to expect investment given an average to poor season?
-
as a person who frequently passes through Polmont to and from west lothian meeting 'well fans along the way, i would say we are all doomed Big in Falkirk is this weekend chaps, so it might be a cheaper day out than the footie.

you think those mentioned would command the wages McGhee gets? Last season he seemed more animated, and more vocal from the sidelines. This season im not even sure he looks interested. Rather than build on last season, we have gone backwards. Granted we've lost McCormack and Porter, but other weaknesses within the team have never been adressed. Our younger players have also failed to improve. Murphy's development has been sacrificed for a celtic reject. Although facilities are better than what they were 20 years ago, the standard and entertainment value is getting worse by each passing season. Guys like McGhee, and the other coaches must shoulder the blame for that, as they are the ones over seeing the training. Scottish football is dying in it's present format.
-
If the ball is in and around the six yard box, you want your goalie in their taking the ball and everything with it. Smith is a good shot stopper, but like so many goalies from scotland they dont command their area or organise the defence properly.

perhaps everyone at the club should get minimum wage and the rest performance related. Might get more of an effort.
-
although very slight on the grand scheme of things, those stickers on the seats have certainly made our stadium a right sight! what a bloody mess.
-
all talk, no action. Perhaps it's best McGhee keeps his mouth shut in the future.
-
on todays performance and alot of the games this season will it be such a blow to lose some of our high earners?
-
No hunger, no determination, no pride, no passion. We got what we deserved today, defeat and bottom six. Our slide started the moment our club decided not to fix our pitch. Our team have had plenty of opportunities this season, and have blown every one of them.
-
at this point in the season where every point is essential you play your best players. If they are tired bring them off when the game is won. Clarkson is our top goalscorer get him played. What's happened to young murphy? Has Cillian really provided more than what young murphy showed previously? Did McGhee's bad handling of Murphy during the team selections against Nancy, especially at home, damage the lads confidence?
-
perhaps the rules were set in stone, but can you imagine that 6th & 7th place teams are only split by 1 goal, and that the sixth place team had in fact played twice at home against the 7th place team. Also throw in the possibility that the 7th place team has played the old firm twice away from home at each on their grounds compared to perhaps only 1 for the 6th place team. Unfair advantage I would say.
-
left midfield is so over rated. play hammell on the left wing, o'brien on the right wing, centre backs of reynolds craigen and quinn, midfield of lasley hughes & kimpl and front two of Clarkson & Sutton.
-
Remove the old firm from the league. Im sure most media would be extremely interested in a league where any of the teams in the big league could win it from one year to the next. Certainly would remove the "whats the point" feeling every year. Better training facilities throughout the country, and play the game in the summer months. Playing on a winter night in freezing conditions on appalling pitches is never going to attract new fans to the game. League sponsorship monies should be equally split amongst all teams, and this money has to be used to reduce ticket prices. All kick times irrespective if a particular game is live on the tv or not should be played at the same time.

fhw got lucky, which seems to be their way for a while now. But again why is our top goalscorer playing in midfield?
-
nothing daft now surely. stupid feckers have thrown it away again
-
with hibs winning it's important we take at least a point now.
-
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
-
Why did you have to say that since he's come on he's caused us alot of problems and now he's halfed craigen
-
cannae understand why you move clarkson who scoring goals for fun into midfield. we need a big bit of luck now, as hearts will break up and slow the game down. Then we take him off and replace him with mcgarry! has sutton kicked his erse this half?
-
How much is Boyle worth? What promises did he make last season? Why no action on the pitch? Why should the fans put their hands in their own pockets, given that many already do pay over the odds to our club in blind loyality and without any appreciation from the club.
-
you would think fans of teams who are aiming for a european place would be happy that we play on a pitch which is inferior than the other SPL pitches. Surely, it's a major disadvantage to our team, given the way we try to play the game apparently. Todays footballers, pundits and fans are going soft. Games in the past were played in worse conditions, and yet produced better quality and entertainment. Good footballers should be able to play on any surface. Perhaps, if todays players had learnt the basics on first touch and ball control, and learned to adapt their games, then pitches like ours would not be such an issue. If the media want perfect pitches then perhaps they should be campaigning for summer football, rather than focus on a particular pitch in the middle of the winter.
