  1. brilliant. another confidence builder.
  2. great win today. As for the cup game, bring it on.
  3. all i hope for is a reaction and win in the next game, after the rangers defeat. All to easy to go on a losing run in this league.
  4. football is a frustrating game. No point in getting upset over a defeat against the old firm away from home, as it happens time after time. Results have reasonable went our way today as we are still third.
  5. every team in the league outwith the old firm give away cheap goals. Thats why the players play for us and not the old firm.
  6. The difference is Rangers have experienced pro's who are of better quality in the better or more important areas of the pitch. We need to play at the top of our game and hope that their better players have an off day. Thats where the financial disadvantages has taken us in the modern game. We did very well first half, but then we lose concentration, as always, and they get a lift, and then with home support, raise their game, and well we know the rest. If we are to beat Rangers, it will be at Fir Park, games at Ibrox and Parkhead are write offs and basically should be forgotten about very quickly.
  7. cannae believe that! especially at Ibrox. We Walter has obviously changed tactics and Brownie has failed to react.
  8. not so sure about bottle. It's concentration thats the problem, and making the game to open. Rangers midfield is being allowed easily to run at our defence. All seems to have happened after Lasley got booked. In hindsight Gow and Forbes should have been on for the start of second half.
  9. midfield has disappeared and rangers are running all over the top of our defence. pathetic again. this is going to get embarrasing.
  10. passing the ball very well, and then we fail to close down a midfield runner and allow a free shot.
  11. as if levein is going to pick a 'well player....
  12. perhaps a bus could be run from Fir Park area to the new stadium and back, should such an even arise, funded by club, pubs, and trust, to ensure any inconvenience is minimised. After all we are ment to be a community club.
  13. to be fair, it has been known for own reports to disappear when we get beat
  14. bamba is also known to make a few mistakes.
  15. We've coped with far better players leaving than Reynolds. He is not that bad, and i guess there is few better than him in the SPL outwith the old firm players. Perhaps is we had hyped him up to the hilt, rather than constantly saying he is crap, we might have got someone to sign him. We need to sell players to survive, and the more money we get the better it is for the club. Sure, it is ok to be honest, realistic, but a wee white lie, might have been better for all concerned!
  16. I would be suprised if we signed anyone in the January window. We seldom do, and surely, their is a better quality of player available now either as a free or on loan.
  17. if only he brought his last motherwell season form!
  18. we need a midfield player, as it would appear we only have Forbes and Fitzpatrick as backup to Hateley, Jennings, Lasley & Humphrey. Out of the six of them, IMO Forbes is the only guy capable of grabbing a goal.
  19. hope these guys can be recalled, because we only appear to have fitzy as backup to our midfield. Our squad is get smaller by each passing month.
  20. eh? the english fa transfer window is shut! As for £400k, i would prefer if some dafty manager gave us a bit more than that. To be honest i would be suprised if Brown got any of the transfer fees brought in to improve the team. Previous seasons have shown that the money has went to other things to keep the club ticking over.
  21. scottish football is doomed, as it is that boring, even our players cant be ersed to get themselves motivated to play one of our so called better teams.
  22. perhaps one game they will all run to the back post only for the ball to be crossed to the near post We have been missing a regular goalscoring central midfield player for a long time now. Safety first football probably put an end to any ideas that the center of our midfield could be creative and be allowed to venture forward.
  23. comes back to the argument as fans would we rather win ugly playing anti football or lose playing nice football. Is the SPL really all about the result only and to hell with the performance? Are modern day players lazy? Where did the one touch pass and move go? One of our players gets the ball, and his outlay is a hopeful punt up the park! Where are his colleagues? Modern players are ment to be fitter than ever before, yet one or even two cant get their erse into space for an out ball. Surely, the players cant be that low on confidence this early in the season, that they are hiding? After all, Gannon had them playing football until they all had a fall out.
  24. there is no way our players should be tired after only playing a few games into the season. It's just an excuse to another poor performance. As much as i dislike Maloney's antics, had murphy been as street wise last Thursday, few of us would have grumbled, and we would probably be in the group stages. We have a good solid squad of players, and if Brown would only trust our youths more, we can have a good season. However, these players need to work even harder, take responsibility, show the hunger and determination if they want to improve and have another crack at Europe next year.
  25. whilst i agree about hateley's free kicks, think its harsh about his ability. What i do know is that he really needs to be showing more in his so called best position. He is young enough to improve.
