Sorry i dont agree that we have failed to recover after the accies game. I refer you to jowarks... post. We dont know the ins and outs of our recruitment in the last couple of windows, so i dont know how you know for sure mistakes were made. Every club is looking for a 20 goal striker. Theres not many about it seems. I could argue that given our position and 4th top goalscorers our recruitment has been a reasonable success. As for team selections and tactics , hindsight is a wonderful thing. Again tho we have got it right most times this season, hence our 41 points. Yes there will be the odd hicup, thats what we do. Every manager gets it wrong at some point. Its the nature of the game, but in our current position i think its silly to say serious questions need to be asked.

We were awful against livi and poor 2nd half tonight, but weve been decent since the return. So hardly a few poor performances. What mistakes have been made off field?

Could be wrong, but we have only failed to score in 7 games out of 25. We are also the fourth top goalscorers in the league. So after a couple of defeats the sky has fallen in and we are rank rotten. Yes we could be better, but we also could be in hearts position. Lets just cut out the over the top reactions every time we dont win and chill.

Bottom line, they have beater quality going forward. Costs alot of money mind you.

Playing Rangers at Ibrox was never going to be easy for our young develping team. We defended well for long periods. A couple of mistakes, combined with luck and quality and we lost.

Penalty miss seemed to knock our confidence and energy. To many loose passes and mistakes. Aberdeen out muscled us all over the park and everthing they hit ended up in the net. Well beat in the end, but youve got to wonder what would have happened if we had scored the penalty. Small margins, like most games involving the majority of teams in our league.

Funny old game. Played better football last week. Good battling performance and very good 3 points at a difficult place for us. Hopefully gives the players abit more confidence to kick on.

Its the Motherwell we all love. Just when your mind starts to think everthing motherwell is good, we do what we do again and get beat. Up and down. If Man City can get beat by Norwich, then i guess County beating us aint no great suprise. It seems they got the rub of the green today. Such is life.

Recruitment for clubs at our level is getting more and more difficult. Money is everything in football. There are players who would rather sit in stand, than play for us on peanuts. The guys we sign are all punts, and need time to adjust. To many are quick to bin them or give them a chance. Yet, the guys that have apparently not been replaced, were punts as well. Football management is not easy. The guys shouting for sackings, are never going to be happy. Todate we have only been beaten by city clubs on much bigger resources. Yes, there are issues within our team, but we need to give them time and our support.

What about the ones that we had before?

nothing sticks up front. plenty of side passing, but once ball is played up, possession is lost.
