Some of the stuff we played under Gannon was an absaloute joy to watch. Last season I was more upbeat for any season than I had been ever as the football was great.

Hard to be inventive with long balls directed at you and when craigan sends those predictable and woeful cross diagonal balls to wingers that end up over the wingers head and into the crowd.

What frustrated me was the fact we kept crossing the ball into the box for the strikers with only Sutton a real in air threat. I'd rather we kept in on the deck and play more directly with Murphy and Humphrey. Humphrey would certainly benefit from keeping it on the deck and running at people or if the likes of Sutton/Blackman etc played balls through the channel which would allow him to out pace the wingback and run in on goal.

When the core of your team is Steven Craigan and Keith Lasley, you dont deserve to be considered for a chance at the Europa leauge. Not bashing their performance tonight, I just fell we need a better backbone to our team if we wish to progress as a club.
