  1. Do you even know where our British Forces are? Brunei? Kosovo? Falkland Islands? Germany? Canada? Belize? Gibraltar? SBA Cyprus Qatar? Diego Garcia? Afghanistan? United Kingdom? Which two of those are more volatile then?
  2. So you change your argument because the Rank and File - who could say "I was only following orders" did say that and went back to civilian life (some actually remained in military in west) - so it is an excuse and has been for a very long time. I don't think they should have got season tickets, nor did I think they should have been given free entry in the last thread - but they have and I'm happy to say well done Motherwell on an excellent PR job. Also, someone also mentioned they are well paid - not as well paid as their bosses who are getting bonuses higher than the yearly wage of a front line soldier - nor do I hear anyone moaning about the amount of free tickets that are given to sponsors, media, and fat cats who are friends of those that run MFC - all of whom probably earn double what the front line soldier earns.
  3. What happened to those soldiers? Most of them disappeared into civilian life. Some moved to Holland, France, USA etc... Please enlighten me...
  4. Well since it is not likely he'll be here the full season I think it would be more fair to do it up to January: 2008/09 Porter: 9 2007/08 Porter: 9 2006/07 McDonald: 9 2004/05 McDonald: 8 That is very doable as at this very point Porter was on 6 (07/08) and 4 (08/09) and McDonald was on 8 (06/07) & 7 (04/05). Last season at this time Clarkson was on 4 as well. Very much in the running to be as prolific as those before him, again only in my opinion.
  5. I agree his positioning is poor, but I honestly believe this is due to what Gannon is telling him to do. Although when I have seen him from the Main Stand he may start of in a poor position but his ability to make up for it, and his tackling is not "shite" as some ave said. Nah Infamous Duke is on target to be more prolific than him and Porter (that is if my maths is right) - and the Duke has a worse frontline to work with IMHO
  6. Tbf most people who want Yass booted also wanted The Duke booted, although the Duke is on course to be our most prolific striker well eh... since god knows when.
  7. I remember people saying that Hearts would put us to the sword after their win against Celtic - turned out Hearts are pish! Dundee United are no better than us, haven't been in the previous seasons as results between the teams show. At this moment of time I predict 2-1 us.
  8. Which was going on double figure if it wasn't for him. He was then brought back for the Post split fixtures - and was asked to stay on. Fraser is a decent keeper, and a very good back up.
  9. Is this the same formation that is played by Brazil, Spain, Holland, Barcelona etc. etc. people are moaning about - all known I guess for their defensive play?
  10. Is domestic pre-contracts undo-able until 3 months before anyway? I remember Calderwood moaning about missing out on a player because he could not approach them until March when English clubs could contact them in January.
  11. WTF! I have gone from getting paid over £300 per week to a basic £64 a week in jobseekers, have a mortgage to pay, utilities bills not to mention 16 month old baby to care for so I think the fact I pick and choose the games I go to doesn't make me unworthy of posting on here - especially with fucking Christmas coming up!
  12. Fir Park back at being an International Stadium. Expect Scotland Under 21 games to follow
  13. You're right he's not as good as Ruddy, but if Fraser had done even half the mistakes Ruddy has people on here would be paying for his taxi back up to Inverness. Also, lets be honest how many clubs - never mind the one our size has two "quality" keepers...
  14. Like almost everyone else, Fraser didn't do anything wrong. I would love to see where those slating Fraser for the first goal think he should of been standing. I think he was in his correct position, but flick headers are some of the worst things a keeper requires to deal with. It's actually quiet scary what people say on here sometimes! As for MOTM, going to give it to Humphrey. Playing at right back but still looked dangerous going forward. All in all though a decent performance which as we have seen could have been better. on this seasons standard.
  15. Not to mention the encroachment offence done by three Accies defenders....
  16. They are technically factual but the way the media protrade it they made it look like Gannon was specifically talking about them when if you took Gannon's quote as gold and pure you will know for a fact Craigan and Lasley are safe if they want to remain at the club because as has already been mentioned before both appear on the team sheet practically every week.
  17. Spot on. He has not done anything wrong, and has probably made less mistakes than the god (to some) that Ruddy has - in fac you'll find a lot of the goals we have lost this season in the league have been due to poor decision making by the keeper....
  18. William Hill offering Win @ 2607.2/1
  19. The thing is Craigan hasn't been mentioned by Gannon - for one Gannon is probably to smart to do that - nothing worse than saying someone has no future then finding out the one man you depend on is that same guy! If Craigan is leaving then I hope Gannon has an experienced defender in - as we're not going to be able to go on with Hutch, Saunders and Reynolds - especially if Hammell or Yass get injured (or leave) since Saunders is our Right back and Reynolds our left back.... leaving us one central defender (unless Page is getting thrown in again)!
  20. Heard a rumour Fraser was wanted by Butcher still... maybe a return north to Caley, even if it is only a loan. Shocked if Craigan is on the list. The Beeb or other media sources putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 there me thinks.
  21. And Forbes has already won a young player award in August....
  22. Yeah it was Wallsend. He follows in the foot steps of Alan Shearer, Peter Beardsley etc. etc.
  23. As above apart from the ones mentioned a few times it has to be Craigan's throwin that led to us reaching the top six again. Thought we had fucked up in that game but that was just magic. Lappin against Celtic at Celtic Park - just for the fact we were down to ten men.
