Exactly. United play well against the Old Firm - but they hardly ever beat them. St Johnstone also play well against them. It's a cup, everyone can beat everyone - not to mention last time I checked Celtic were not yet through to the Semi Finals.

Well we have never had a 0-0 against Aberdeen, Rangers and Celtic in the same season until now. I know this because we have only drawn 0-0 with Rangers twice in our history. This season and last. No idea when the last time we had consecutive shut-outs though.

Craigan was excellent against Falkirk!!! I thought Reynolds when asked to defend yesterday was fantastic, unfortunately his distribution at times was worse than Craigans. The amount of times as easy pass to Hammell was on and he choose to put it up the middle (sometime along the ground) for Robson/Maloney/Brown to pick up was a worry. Although like I said his defending was excellent and seems to have learned from last season. Although look at Reynolds - last two seasons he has been caught a lot, and I think when we're working with Saunders (who again was excellent yesterday, and put his body on the line) and Hutchison we need to remember they're still teenagers - so Craigan will be required to steer them on.

Our right side has been given them hell. Once again though our final ball has let us down. Maybe a few shoot on sight moments to come as I don't think Boruc will fancy dealing with so many of those - the more we do the more likely he'll fuck up.

Like usual when we play one half of the Old Firm at their patch I'll be watching it online. Quietly confident we can take something from the game, but like normal from the first second to the final whistle we'll need to remain switched on. Like Well Nuts going 1-1 but I think Forbes with our goal and of course McDonald with theirs

The only negative noise we have heard is from here.Yet when it comes to Slane himself or the club it has all be positive noise. Tbf to Slane, why shouldn't he hold Motherwell to "ransom" for a better wage deal. If Gannon/Young thing he is as good as they do, and he knows it then why shouldn't he get paid what he thinks a player of that standing should be paid - every player, especially one with a "good" Agent will do the same.
