  1. Too early to say about currently, but I think our squad now has a higher potential than it did last season (if we can keep our boys for a couple of season or more).
  2. Or he's getting them to watch what he wants them to do. It is a lot easier to show than it is to tell someone. All he has said is he likes his team to be able to pass from back to front and back again. Hence why Craigan has come under pressure, and has risen to the challenge on occasions. His formation is, his formation and I'm sorry but three games in the league and not a single defeat means it is working... Shame on him thinking the young boys are good enough for the SPL. Yet to be proven wrong. As for being egomaniac, then if it works then why not, the fact of the matter is all he has come out and said is "His Team, My Boys, Us, We, Together" - if that is being egotistic then long may it continue. If he had been here 10 years, won the Scottish Cup got us playing effectively there would still be question marks. And I think he'll enjoy that fact. I'm really trying to figure out how anyone could have a problem with what he has done so far as 2 months ago we were all but relegated by a few on here, it was the end of the world with so many First Teamers gone, the media all predicting us being relegated while at the same time the same fans and media being ignorant of what is going on at other clubs (granted) but so far we have a manager who has more than a plan a - anyone willing to find out when the last time we had one of them?
  3. Fair enough but try and keep it a little tidy or I'll be forced to HOTD it.
  4. I'm glad to see people coming out of the closet and all but I'm a little worried guys on here having almost naked pictures of another guy saved on their computer and then sharing it with other people...
  5. He doesn't say he has one year left. It says a year and a bit, which I woul read as being A Year and 8 or 9 months.. ala June 2011
  6. Anyone hear about a youngster we've nicked off Rangers? Meant to be a decent prospect. Name Zane Powell?
  7. Yeah it's time for closure, lets move on. Good discussion was had with hardly any childish remarks which usually come along from a heated debate. Meanwhile - until the next time - I'm closing this thread as it has run it's course. It will remain in the main board though.
  8. Maybe United TV if you have that... Anywhere else I doubt it
  9. There is a huge thread for the newboys at the Club... whits the point having that thread if fans are more interesting singing about the opposition?
  10. Here's an idea... why not sing songs of support of Motherwell FC... like you know, be supporters?
  11. Pearce Flynn was looking to buy ANY club before he bought Livingston.... hmmm yeah... Long live John Boyle I think
  12. Yeah I guess we could mention that too if you like
  13. So 18 minutes then... Although Kilmarnock had a decent spell they didn't really cause any problems for Ruddy. EDIT: As for St J's yeah we were pish for 45 minutes, but surely the fact that Gannon changed it is something very refreshing compared to many previous managers. Even under McGhee, we were always a plan A team. With Gannon it seems we have a plan a, b, c and a d if things are not working.
  14. True, if people put as much effort about singing and backing the team they're would be no time to sing pish about the opposition!
  15. John "The Sailor" Hunter is such a legend that every topic that comes up about Legends of Motherwell FC you're lucky if he gets a mention more than once, twice at a push. I would bet 99% of people on this forum would name Tommy McLean long before they thought about Hunter. Sad state, but maybe, just maybe United just care more and have pushed it on North and South (in otherwords put down money for it.... have Motherwell done the same for Hunter?)
  16. The match isn't about Motherwell FC or Manchester United FC. It is about the whole new initiative that Lanarkshire (North and South) are starting up in the name of Sir Matt Busby. The reason why we're playing in the game is because as you say, we're the local "big" team. If United wanted to play a glamour friendly there are two clubs in Glasgow they would have played. Instead they wanted to play a local club.
  17. Did they not see what we did to the last team that beat Accies 3-0...
  18. Might take my 13 month old along to the game
  19. So we're getting at least a point then
  20. Yeah he's also brought Ben Cooper and Alan Lord with him
  21. No point getting loan signings from the SPL as they can't play against that club. I hate it when we have to depend on a player but then can't be available because of who he is loaned from.
  22. Don't say that people take those things so seriously - next you'll have a few posts moaning aboot it's "never a diddy cup"
  23. That's not two days before... it's bloody four
  24. I've decided my son will be 5 (just 4 years to go...) when I start taking him to home games but like others have said it is all up to you
  25. Isn't the draw usually the Tuesday after the previous round? Very true Welldaft, although we hold the right to to change our mind again if we get absolutely humped in the final....
