  1. Sounds like Ruddy is having a shocker.... two poor decisions when coming from crosses... one leads to a goal
  2. Post 26 before anyone from our League Winning side gets a mention That's really sad thinking about that

  4. tbf and just to nit pick, they don't have to even log on to read this part of the site

Yeah I think a few clubs were going to go for that but decided against it. Maybe we'll buck the trend and stick with it...
  6. That quote makes it for me. The fact he has came out in the press and told Page and Saunders they have the a great chance in the future to be Motherwell right back will hopefully see both of them come on leaps and bounds, going head to head for that one slot
  7. No! How the fuck is a topic on who the referee for the coming game pointless? Unless I missed it, the officials are a very important part of football? Oh and. Aw naw for fuck sake naw him
  8. You mean when he was fouled EastStandWellFan I think is spot on, although I think him being "dropped" for Flamurtari had more to do with Gannon trying to figure out where was the best place to play Reynolds more than anything. Against Steaua as soon as a change was needed it was Hammell he brought on, and at home he was back in the left back position when he moved Reynolds to in front of the defence.
  9. If we get something like that in, that will be the only time we'll have goal line technology! It's bad enough you're lucky to get an hour of football a match never mind adding all this pishy stop starting shit. Challenges won't work either. Unlike other sports football is supposed to be a fast pace, none stop sport... unfortunately it's not anymore.
  10. New backers - oh and a United fan owning all their debt. If they don't get promoted to the SPL at the end of the season, there will be no Dundee team in Scottish Senior Football. They'll totally bypass Administration as their debt will be huge as they'll run up major debts this season (if you treat their state when the United fan bought their debt as being as no debt).
  11. When do you stop it for Hawkeye though? Say a team "clears" it off the line does the referee stop it even though the ball is still in play. What if he does stop it but a breakaway 2 on 1 up the other end and it turns out it wasn't a goal. That will be not solving any problems. What if they decide to look over it in the next stoppage of play - which turns out to be a goal for the defending team? Hawkeye should not be brought in. Goal Line technology that doesn't require a stoppage should though, until that happens then it should be left the way it is (or have a touchline ref at each end - something UEFA crapped out off in the Europa League?)
  12. No reading the article it is all for the Sir Matt Busby thing. I don't think even their current owners would dare to ask for a fee for a match in the name of Sir Matt Busby
  13. Not often. Although in Scottish Law a lot of things that cost money (Reports, Court Dues etc.) cannot be charged as there are two forms of charges in Scottish Litigation. Agent/Client and Party/Party. Everything that is chargeable in Party/Party is also charged at Agent/Client, although the Client doesn't see these charges as the other party pays for them. Unfortunately not everything that is Agent/Client is chargeable in Party/Party account. Of course, there is also no expenses due to or by either Party, which means each side bear their own costs... which I doubt MFC/Boyle would have accepted. It is very unusual to end in debt if you are the Pursuer and win your case unless your solicitor fucked up a couple of times during the proceedings (missed deadlines, extra unnecessary Motions etc.) We could, like Steelboy says pay the Solicitor now (Harper McLeod I believe *spit*) and reveive the money back once the Party/Party Account is paid up.
  14. Aye, Stephen Craigan is gonna be a huge miss. Hopefully who we get in can do their best
  15. Would there be much point with it being International week during next week? Only dates available would be this weekend as most clubs that would give us anything to go on will have players missing or have their season started already. Saying that, the youth may have more games lined up but not see anything mentioned.
  16. Or you could take a look at the most recent League Cup Squads where it is mostly up and comers but with a few veterans in their to steady the ship. SAF could also use it for those who are just coming back from injury (like Vidic will be) etc.
  17. I'm excited! What a week that's going to be for me. Friday 4th September - My Stag Night Saturday 5th September - Scotland v Iceland Sunday 6th September - Motherwell v Manchester United XI Wednesday 9th September - Scotland v Holland Saturday 12th September - Motherwell v Rangers in the afternoon and My Wedding in the evening Busy week
  18. There would have been no chance of us getting St Pats. We would have been unseeded just like St Pats if we got past Steaua.
  19. No we wouldn't as unlike the last round the draw was done after the results were known. We would have been un-seeded. We would have had to play one of the big guns - unlike Steaua
  20. And they'll probably lose Riordan as well as he is not happy with the current manager, while the current manager isn't happy with him. With Hughes coming out and saying don't come to training if you can;t be bothered, it seems Riordan took him up on that option, but unlike with Lovell at Falkirk Hughes doesn't want to accept that - or so the rumours go. If Riordan leaves Hibs add them to the relegation battle, as Hughes' signings have been anything but great.
  21. Finally get Justin.tv working for the half time whistle
  22. Why the fuck is JustinTV not working for me
  23. Mon! Although I cannie fucking see it yet
  24. Aye. The benefit of playing a Giant of Romania I guess
