  1. So staff won't chat with each other - unless they work in the same department, say during lunch breaks or cigarette breaks? Anyway, if the guys mate was a chef a few years ago then well played, lovely meal when I last stayed there.
  2. Don't be silly... Of course someone is to blame.
  3. So we're having a testimony for someone on a date that he is likely going to be away for?
  4. Tbh I don't give a shit if Gannon has pissed off every player in the squad as long as he and the players perform on match day. Gannon is not there to be their babysitter and the players need to learn that.
  5. Like us they have a double header. They play Poland away on the 5th and then are at home to Slovakia on the Wednesday. I very much doubt this has anything to do with Craigan as I expect he'll expect to be on his way back to Belfast that day so rightdodgyman's explanation makes more sense surely?
  6. Hopefully if this is true then Craigan won't be available for it....
  7. I think a lot less people were interested in the Llanelli v Motherwell game - from a Llanelli point of view! It should be on TV because it's the national sport and well, it's a major competition.
  8. Aren't you glad for foreign TV Stations. If only our home nations TV channels cared enough about our own clubs in Europe

    Ruddy

A game who's database Everton Football Club paid a hansom price to have first dibs on* As for Ruddy he was quite solid, but I think his reputation has risen due to his penalty save (which if the oficials were spot on would have forced a re-take). Nor can anyone say if anyone else was in goal it would have been worse. His positioning for the third goal can be questioned too. Apart from that, I think the tranfer fee is tiny for someone who has been tipped by Moyes to be a future England keeper *Not including game makers and researchers of course
  10. Bollocks. As many have said in here Craigan was still a stand out last night. Many players would have went into a shell after the OG like that but Craigan was once again solid. Past it my arse. Take him out the team against St Johnstone and we'll get hammered as he is still a better central defender than Hutchison and Reynolds. He needs a partner in the centre though that is not learning his game. Let Craigan teach them on the training ground, not in a match situation and you'll see there is still much to come from Craigan
  11. Aye we do. To partner Craigan.
  12. I agree. It would have been a lot more spectacular though Still not as good as his against Hearts though, that was a screamer
  13. That's because if it is Hammell playing left back with someone else on the ball Hammell would have gone past the left winger to collect the ball. Reynolds didn't do this, nor did any of the other midfielders. What do you want him to do? Try and beat the Steaua right side by himself?
  14. This, while most of the time never getting any support from them in defence. Hammell's frailties in defence are mainly due to the fact our left sided midfielders don't help him.
  15. True he did, but it's a lot easier to say that now. There were many errors for all the goals last night, but it is easier to sit back for us to back and pick faults. In fact, not only Craigan was to blame for the 1st goal. Why the hell do Motherwell insist of not having men on the posts, why does everyone except Craigan run towards the ball, leaving Craigan with no option to try and clear it (chose wrong foot, but then again, knowing Crags luck he would have gone with his left and it would have still spooned into the net). The second goal came from our attack, our midfield being far to slow and our defence just being split wide open with a very good, but common move. The third - Well poor defending on the right, woeful position from Ruddy for when the ball came in (he was outside the line of his front post so wasn't even covering his front post!) and then Reynolds letting someone come in - or not letting Hutchison know there's a guy strolling into the area. Craigan with some of his tackles made up for one second of madness in my eyes. The fact of the matter is as seen it was only a matter of time before Steaua scored (IMHO of course)
  16. Yes a player must been registered with the Home FA to be able to be registered for any continental competition. This like everyone has agreed means the FA and the SFA have seen no problem with the transfer.
  17. Also the fact we know Craigan can finish leaves the question, why is he never allowed to go up for Corners. Him coming in on the back post would be a master stroke. He has already proved he knows how to hit the back of the net
  18. And apart from one, which was an awful OG (think against Celtic - where he tried to jump over the ball?) the rest have been very unlucky. Especially the one against Hearts when they beat us 1-0 in that windy day at Fir Park. Still one of the best strikes I have seen from a Motherwell player SD - Done, when I stop posting this
  19. Aye, I was meant to put "ed" at the end of play.
  20. SD, About 6 last night! At least the same amount away to the Albanian team. Not sure about Llanelli. Last season in Nancy sure it was in double figures. Scared to even think how many it has been in the SPL or Domestic Cups. As for the OP. About 5, maybe 6 direct OGs. Not many at all compared to the above.
  21. Saying they lost to a team in Lichtenstein is little bit amiss because they played in the Swiss Premier League and constantly beat the bigger teams of that league like Basle at home. In fact, last year in the UEFA Cup they went out to Basle due to away goals, and if it wasn't for the Basle keeper would have cruised into the next round. Agree with everything else you say though.
  22. For the love of god. We haven't even played a single SPL club and you've decided to make a judgement on players. Is that not what the Old Firm fans do? All that is left to say is...
