They will only make their entry in the Playoff Round if they win the Cup. Hearts will take their place in the Playoff Round, Aberdeen will take Hearts place in the Third Qual Round and Falkirk will slip in where Aberdeen are if Rangers win the Scottish Cup.

New "Scumfield" is a cheaper version of Almondvale. You do know that? The only reason it had a half decent atmosphere was because we sold oot our end. A Stadium is what the fans make of it. If it looks like a Meccano set and there is no atmosphere then the fans have failed at doing what they should be doing. Saying that though, Fir Park is unique but has no atmosphere... so it doesn't matter where a game of football is hosted for us it seems.

OK found a non-selfish reason for it being at Livingston. If we have it at Hamilton it means we'll be given one of our league competitors a financial gain. As for Airdire... do we really want to go down that route on a Thursday night?

Depends on who we get in, but more important how we start. I don't think we can match Hearts over the course of the season, but Aberdeen, Hibernian and well United will choke if we chase them down. If we can stay injury free then all the better, as I believe our First XI (if we replace Hughes ) is just as good as anyone elses. As for Europe, we should look to at least the Third Qualifying Round. Anything less I would be bitterly disappointed - no angry with. Getting past the Third Qualifying Round, with clubs like Roma, Fulham and Bilbao to name just a few (although if we're seeded then I may even be disappointed not making the Play-Off Round) may be a bit of a tall order. We have a great chance in the cups, but I say that every year. 1/4 Finals minimum please, depending on draw.
