  1. I doubt the 10K rule is a rule as I doubt many of the minor clubs in the competition have that big a stadium!
  2. Yes, I remember that day well. We have come along way since then...
  3. Tell all the Arabs ye know....
  4. But you forget, bigger clubs use it too. How do you know that it wasn't payment up front and then if x, y or z happen then we would pay the rest. Motherwell don't want to pay out full amounts for what could, in the end turn out to be back up players when we could sign three or four more players if we can buy in instalments. St Johnstone need the players now so have to take the risk. Livingston would be stupid to work in that mode though, especially in their predicament
  5. Rumours have it he will shortly be available
  6. Nae chance of Brian McClair. He's Head of Academy at Manchester United last time I checked.
  7. Who said they were pals? All I said is I knew Falkirk fans. Read One F is all I need to do. But nice to know I have my very own troll. Makes me feel special
  8. Why the hell would you want Hughes as manager. I know Falkirk fans who will pay for the taxi to any other club as long as it is away from Falkirk Stadium
  9. I'm sure I read last week with him be suspended for the Accies game that ICT was his last game this season...
  10. Does anyone know which (former) Motherwell Youngsters took part in the SPL Exit Trials this year at Hampden? Can't find anything on the website. Also does anyone know who else took part, as the SPL website is even worse for information!
  11. In what way did he not look convincing? - He came for crosses and collected them all - He dealt with some real dodgy pass backs, only being beaten once from a Quinn pass back but done enough to cover himself and Quinn in that scenario. - Seemed to lead the defence well
  12. Very true, but could yesterday be a sign of knowing Smith is leaving and given Artur a chance to prove himself, and apart from a wicked deflection beating him at his near post, he looked calm and collected when needed, including some dodgy pass backs from the defence. Also a keeper, and a foreign one at that, that can come and collect a cross
  13. Those that are here or have signed on pre-contract Goalkeepers Michael Fraser Defenders Paul Quinn Brian McLean Stephen Craigan Mark Reynolds Shaun Hutchison Steven Saunders Stevie Hammell Jonathan Page Midfielders Marc Fitzpatrick Steven McGarry Keith Lasley Jim O'Brien Darren Smith Forwards David Clarkson John Sutton Jamie Murphy Possibles/I would like Goalkeepers Artur Krysiak Midfielders Stephen Hughes/Goal Scoring Midfielder Maros Klimpl
  14. They were beaten by a certain club we support for a left back! They will also lose Smith, Severin et al not to mention Miller will probably be looking for a way out rather soon, as I hear Hearts are keeping an eye out not to mention a couple of English Clubs. I also think you are looking to compare a team signing first team players and one signing squad players.
  15. Aberdeen don't have more money for players than us. Their squad will be worse than us for bareness.
  16. This year or last? As Pittodrie, Murrayfield and Hampden have been a joke this season...
  17. It was a real shame, as I thought the best thing about the whole game was the away support. They must have been on the bevvy early hours to be able to get that up for an end of season friendly. Not to mention I was actually shocked with the amount of fans Kilmarnock managed to bring. I expected them to be stuck in the POD stand. Kilmarnock can be very proud of their fans today. Well played to them. As for the Stewards, lets be honest the less said about them the fucking better!
  18. I agree. Thought the referee did well to let the game flow, and I thought let a few fouls, on a normal day would have seen a booking go because he wanted to let it flow. Although, I guess it was not much of a test for him. He also realised unlike the old school that the game is not about him, but about the football...
  19. Hughes gets the shits the same reason why Ferguson got it from Scotland fans, as does Fletcher now because they are meant to be better than the average joe in the team. Not to mention he's the only attacking midfielder I know who has played most of the season without actually being an attacking threat to teams. The amount of times he had the chance to take a pop at goal, he instead decided to dally on the ball, spin around a couple of times and pass it to O'Brien/Clarkson/Hammell/Klimpl/Some Kilmarnock player (delete as appropriate) was ridiculous. We badly need an attacking midfielder. We badly need a goal scording midfielder (I would accept 4+ as enough, but the fact that McLean and Boab Malcolm have scored more goals than Hughes says all we need to know about his ability as an attacking midfielder). I think people are being a little harsh on O'Brien though.
  20. At what? Miss placing passes, dancing round in circles when he had a chance at a shot on goal?
  21. Do they have a central midfielder that can score goals that is not already away to another club?
