  1. To be fair, Dundee United are chasing Europe two years running doing exactly that. Although, one thing they have done that we haven't to any great stride is hunt the Polish market. Get those damm Poles doon to Fir Park.
  2. If they lose to Falkirk on Saturday they will be relegated
  3. Our midfield sucks when it comes to chipping in with goals. It is a sad fact when someone like Bob Malcolm is your top goalscorer away from the strikers.
  4. I have to say Hammell's tackle before our third was fantastic. I also think Clarkson's first, although a tap in was also well executed the way he turned his body to get a clear side foot on the ball, especially due to the way it came to him
  5. I go for Killie as it would be us that relegate them.
  6. I would actually say our strikers without Clarkson to help them out not managing to score in a brothel before Christmas which fucked our season more than anything else
  7. A dream come true! A day late birthday present if we relegate Killie
  8. Well still waiting to find out where I, or anyone else thought it was fucking immense that we qualify through the back door? (although the whole competition in the back door to Europe) I'll give you a while although I think I have only really posted in the last two or three pages so won't take long...
  9. Is that your best come back? Because you didn't actually read what I said, your argument has been blown away so you change your arguement? Why don't you just post "no u" and be done with it. Sad... really!
  10. In 100 years time (ok maybe not that long but still...) in a pop quiz under Sports a question could be "Who was the last Scottish team to play in the UEFA Cup, and the first to play in the UEFA Europa League" The answer would be Motherwell. The peeps writing the questions won't care how or why they did it, the fans of Motherwell (apart from you...maybe) won't care how we did it but the fact of the matter is the answer would be Motherwell. Also, re-read what I said, not once did I say it was immense to qualify the way we can, but the scenario I described above is immense. Just like I think Hibs (I think it is Hibs) go on about them being the first Scottish side to play in Europe (you never hear them mentioned that was because a few clubs refused the invitation).
  11. Not really! Doesn't matter how we qualify for Europe it won't change the fact we were last Scottish Team to play in the UEFA Cup and will be the first (if we qualify) to play in the Europa League. Where does my point change?
  12. Just as much as qualifying for the UEFA Cup cause we're not good enough to qualify for the Champions League....
  13. Well if we got in through the league we wouldn't be Scotland's first representative in the Europa League...
  14. We should have a scout/representative parked outside Almondvale Stadium every day! The amount of decent players they are finding is unbelievable. Already missed out on Dorrans, who I thought we should have went after straight after the Scotland Under 20's World Cup campaign, McPake lost out to Coventry while there is still MacKay, Davidson and Leigh Griffiths going to move out of site if we are not quic. Reading up on Davidson always makes me laugh though. Great player, who has the great record of being sent aff twice in his first two senior appearances
  15. Motherwell Football Club:- Scotland's last ever representative in the UEFA Cup. Scotland's first ever representative in the Europa League How fucking immense could that be?
  16. Also how many other teams in the SPL, no infact the world can say they have a player in their side who put Wayne Rooney in his back pocket and never let him oot for 90 minutes Hammell, is a fantastic left back for our level and I think he could be at a better level too
  17. Why? Has Scott Leitch never managed before? I'm sure he won something while at Ross County As for McLiesh, only two decent things he has done at Brum according to the fans I speak to are a) got them promoted and b) when he can be arsed having McFadden in the side. Although, it is very unfair to have him down as the one who relegated Brum as if it was not for McLiesh and his signings (mainly O'Connor, McFadden etc) they would have been relegated long before they were. Also, I have to thank him for given one of my favourite players another chance at the Premiership, as I don't think anyone deserves it more than Philips.
  18. And another one Ice Rink goes in the bin...
  19. Knock the monstrosity doon! Six figure sum out of the footballing side for the of wood... It's an absolute disgrace this day and age, we're still spending money every season on those kinds of things...
  20. Cool, means Klimpl can go on kicking the shit oot the rest of the teams
  21. Yeah but we could pick up 11 yellows and 4 reds against Falkirk
  22. Why not. Top player for assists at MFC? Lets face it, been along time since we cared if our wing backs could defend. All that matters is what they do going forward.
  23. Totally agree. A shame he's our top goal scorer outside our strikers! How fucking shite is our midfield going forward
