A Championship side won the Scottish Cup last year, the playoff score was 4-1 in favour of the Premiership. A Championship side reached the final the year before that (knocking out another in the Semi). The score in the playoffs... 6-1 to the Premiership side. The Scottish is no way to judge.

There has been 3 seasons of playoffs. Only the first when Accies relegated Hibs has there been a Championship promotion. The current aggregate score is 12-4 in favour of the Premiership.

Fan wise there seems to be two different thoughts about John Hughes. The first, fans of clubs who he's been manager of and those fans of clubs that he hasn't managed. The former will hardly have a good thing to say about his "brand" of football and the latter the opposite.

Question. What profession back ground would lead to someone knowing how to run a successful football club. A person with a civil engineer background is President of the most successful club in European Competition.
