It takes longer to drive from Dingwall to Aberdeen than it does Motherwell to Aberdeen. Both are less than 3 hours. It's the clubs fault again that long travel time midweek fixtures cause we must have 4 Old Firm games and must have a chance at 2 home games against each, and we must have the split. And the Clubs must have 38 games in the league. They're all pathetic excuses for business.

No it isn't. Motherwell are to blame as much as Rangers or Celtic. People need to stop blaming the woes of the league on those two clubs. All clubs that formed the SPL and then expanded the SPL are equally to blame for our current place in football

Which they have. Rangers (even if you class them as not a new club) have never played in the Premiership. They have, correctly taken the place of Dundee United. If Motherwell and Patrick Thistle were to stupid to know this it's not the SPFL's fault

Dates are adjusted, or we'd know the fixtures every year. Are we going to give compensation to the teams that missed out on top six because we were given 2 home games against Celtic last season but they only got one?

Exactly. What do they propose? That ICT and Ross County play all their fixtures against each other during busy periods. Same with midweek. Don't want midweek then reduce amount of fixtures, but then we would have less games against Rangers or Celtic.

You don't need a large home grown fanbase. SD Eibar are fan owned and have 10000 members from 69 different countries. So it comes back to the Clubs. The what used to be known as the SPL Clubs, including our own should have all power they hold to shape the game removed from them. It's telling that, although we've never been great in the professional era we (Scotland/Scottish Clubs) could match anyone on any given match day. Then those clubs who thought they knew best decided Fuck everyone else we're doing it our way. And ever since then they've gone from failure to failure As for MDE need the Clubs to begin before the match begins, get the SPFL to sit down with ScotRail, First Bus, Stagecoach, local eateries... Improve transport links as a game can take place any day of the week.

Personally, why? The league should be able to say "this is what is happening, deal with it".

Tbh I'm quite happy if the clubs haven't had too much of a say. They've had 18 years to do something with the Scottish game and failed badly.
