All good points, but also Baraclough might believe that one or two of our youths can fill in some of them roles.
On the question of youth, when was the last time we had a keeper come through our ranks and make a stand for no1.
So the next question. What's in place to stop the Rangers fans getting into the home end if it is them we meet.
30000 odd regulars trying to fit into 5000 odd seats....
Keeper will be annoyed about it, but the whole shouldn't be beat at the near is wrong. Sometimes the ball is passed before you can react and if you do save ones like that is cause the ball hits you.
Do you actually think less live games on tv will get fans back, in weather like today say to make up even a fraction of the money that would be lost from less games on tv. If so you're mental.
Have we ever actually been a selling club? Our transfer receipts over the past ten years has been pish. Not sure why, but the likes of the Edinburgh clubs, United, Accies and Livingston all have had receipts we could only dream of.
Well it's the same posters that think they have the credentials to judge the ability of managers, the players and the other teams around us.
So those things out of bounds too?
As for the topic, it seems Flows position is a made up one. I doubt he is actually doing GM work. But if I'm wrong then yeah he will have questions to answer about Motherwell's performances on and off the park - at the end of next season if there are no vast improvements.
For a club like ours the window hasn't shut, it won't till April, that is if it has ever been open.
Unless we can get some of our players to mutual agree to leave or get them signed to a club on loan the "deadwood" will be here till the summer. And I cannot blame any player who sees out his contract
Who in our midfield is? Usually Lasley would be the first man on the Team sheet for this kind of thing but he's almost on par with Vigurs when it comes to no chance getting the ball back after llosing it.
Defensively our midfield is as weak as a shit after a night of Indian food and drinking - although maybe the return of Carswell will help...
How will that have anything to do with it? Go ask ICT, Dundee and Hibs how getting a guy who knew the Scottish game allowed the m to pull away.
I want the best manager available and if he couldn't point out where Dingwall is the n so be it.
Exactly, Hearts for most of last season were woeful. It was only when it turned out that the likelyhood of safety was all but gone did Hearts end up playing well, and gaining huge plaudits for their run. From 30 March to the end of the season they won 5 games - for all the months prior they managed 6 wins. Demand and pressure is a lot to do with it.
Unless they're going to be the South Americans with the dodgy Second Nationality of Italain, Portuguese or Spanish etc. then it will collapse at the first hurdle with the whole needing a Work Permit to be here.
