The biggest problem is the league is still being decided by the clubs. They fucked the original SPL with almost every decision (it was them all not just the OF who thought the finance model and the previous voting system was the way forward) they made. The way I read it is prize money redistributed but not the winners - and that would only be a good idea for one club and it certainly not Motherwell or Ross County or Falkirk and certainly not a good thing for the Forfar or Peterhead of the set up or the competitiveness of the lague Last year it was 10 team league or death, now it is 12 with a system that has already failed somewhere else.....

I can see no way that the Part-Time Clubs will ever pass a 12-12-18 team league that will see them with almost no chance of advancement, as there will always be at least one, maybe two Full Time clubs in the 18 team league, especially if it is going to be a 1 up, 1 down system.

The good thing to take from that article is he seems to have his head screwed on right. He has admitted (if you take his words as face value) that playing regularly on less money is a lot better for his career than sitting on a bench getting splinters on a lot more money Randolph won't be playing in the SPL for any other club except Motherwell, or maybe Celtic.
