  1. Anyway, keep it on topic or let it die. Would rather not have to close a thread - especially the same day we beat that mob from Glasgow.
  2. This. If you cost your club money then you're not supporting your club, you're in fact doing the complete opposite. Maybe we should do what the most fabled Germans do, any fan related fine is passed onto the fans to pay.....
  3. No because the loan window for the SPL is shut, and he belongs to Hamilton now.
  4. There has been a change. None in personel but then changing it doesn't mean making a sub.
  5. Just having our Christmas slump a couple of months late.....
  6. He asks how hard was it for the clubs, well for Celtic not at all. The 11 SPL clubs outside Celtic are a bunch of fuds, and the fact they are selling this as a good thing...
  7. This. Add to the fact they are missing their only decent defender and I doubt McNamara is gonna change his way of playing, we should see a lot of joy in the more open game.
  8. 4-1, easy. Higdon x2, Law and Ojamaa with the goals. Daly for them.
  9. Amazed they're second as they have been one of the worst sides we have played this season. Score early and I can see another riot on the cards. 4-1 us. Higgy (x2), Law and Ojamaa with ours.
  10. The 3 year thing is interesting. Funny enough this is just enough time for the Old Firm derby to become the big thing all over again. I very much doubt that the three year thing has anything to do with expanding the league further if it is TV that the current SPL is worried. Also can people confirm that it is all money being redistributed and not just second down - as if not how is this good for the game (good for Celtic aye but not the league)
  11. The biggest problem is the league is still being decided by the clubs. They fucked the original SPL with almost every decision (it was them all not just the OF who thought the finance model and the previous voting system was the way forward) they made. The way I read it is prize money redistributed but not the winners - and that would only be a good idea for one club and it certainly not Motherwell or Ross County or Falkirk and certainly not a good thing for the Forfar or Peterhead of the set up or the competitiveness of the lague Last year it was 10 team league or death, now it is 12 with a system that has already failed somewhere else.....
  12. Only difference between the third game and the other two.... ....Andrew Considine - who came on as a sub in the third, and we didn't score after that.
  13. Depends on the Bonus System in place. Was the one that covered these accounts win and place, place, or just win. ending of in the bottom six won't cost as much as finish third with a large - for us - win total. No figures as yet of other extraordinary costs (legal fees) either.
  14. Why would a Championship club take a risk when he was punted as a League 1 player?
  15. I can see no way that the Part-Time Clubs will ever pass a 12-12-18 team league that will see them with almost no chance of advancement, as there will always be at least one, maybe two Full Time clubs in the 18 team league, especially if it is going to be a 1 up, 1 down system.
  16. The good thing to take from that article is he seems to have his head screwed on right. He has admitted (if you take his words as face value) that playing regularly on less money is a lot better for his career than sitting on a bench getting splinters on a lot more money Randolph won't be playing in the SPL for any other club except Motherwell, or maybe Celtic.
  17. This. Higdon was man of the match though. The ball for the first goal to Humphrey was the perfect weight, and if Humphrey had more balls into him like that we'd see even more goals.
  18. Ross County. Good result, questionable performance at times. Higdon, hits highest goal tally for a season in January
  19. He was a youngster from Real but came through at Rayo Vallecano de Madrid. Currently playing in Segunda B if you care. Jamie Navarro was another Real youngster we had on trial. Currently playing for Kettering Town.
  20. Can't remember if these were posted anywhere, and here seemed a better place than anywhere Sunday January 20 Motherwell v St Johnstone - live on ESPN, 2.15pm Wednesday February 27, 2013 Motherwell v Celtic - live on Sky Sports, 7.45pm
  21. Wait, if we beat Celtic it will be one of the best seasons ever - even if we go onto lose our next 2 or 3 games, if not more? Beating Celtic in the end of it, unless it is for the title won't change this from being the best season ever/any worse than previous if we end 2nd or 3rd....
