Yeah. Same with everyother player. Just need see how if we are switching play, be it for Murphy or Humphrey, or Hammell or Hateley there is, 9/10 a middle man rather than a direct switch. Our team will have limits, every single player, that is we have them the now and not one of the top clubs (and no Celtic are not a top club either)
-
Same team, 4-0 us, Higdon x2, Murphy and Ojamaa. Top of the SPL by end of round 1
-
Might be greedy but by god there was one point in first half where he had to run back 50 yards to keep a ball in play when 5 Motherwell players shrugged their shoulders and were happy to give a throw in away in a dangerous area. The amount of excellent runs he does behind the defence which in the end sees not even an attempt by our midfield try the pass Iwould be rather annoyed too. I think though over the season Murph and Ojamaa will have a very good season
-
After 15 mins he had about three guys on him most of the time. In fact for long periods if we had the ball it seemed all our 'danger' men had two or three men on them, yet we could not find the space to exploit. The way we try and play, if we could learn to do the last part we're gonna have a braw season and a bit more. Las man of the match though

Ramsden made less mistakes than Hutchy. But let's not mention that..... No real failures tbh last night.

Unless I missed it, I doubt it will be on British TV. Although if we are within a chance BBC might pick it up - but I doubt it. It will be on Greek TV though, so if you know any pubs with a decoder/greek set-up/decent internet connection you might get lucky.
-
Nae what ifs! We're going through (while getting humped by County in between mind With one of our two goals will be last minute.
-
F91 who have a lot less resources than us just knocked out Red Bull who have greater resources than PAO. Motherwell 1-0 Panathinaikos Panathinaikos 2-1 Motherwell Through on away goals!

Just for the record, this post has been saved as a screenshot

Ross McKinnon signs 1 year deal with SC Veendam with an automatic option of a 1 year extension if he plays 22 games.
-
British TV - probably not. Greek TV probably yes, so you'll get a stream online. No doubt there will be links flying around when the time comes.
-
Didn't seen anything on the Official... Congrats to the young ones in this. Supposedly, Higgins and Neill were excellent in the semi final while left back Wotherspoon had a very good final!
-
See Ross McKinnon has been offered a contract by SC Veendam. If he accepts good luck to the boy.
-
For about 11.5km it's a straight road though
-
How close? How far? Stadium is 12KM from the Acropolis
-
Looking around the squads I think we will be battling it out with the usual suspects for between 2nd and 7th. The two Saints, County, Dundee and Caley will be in a league of their own fighting to stay up
-
Depends on Celtic if we're drawn at home on the same leg. Going by previous seasons, and sadly there is not much to go on due to it being both sides of the Old Firm usually and that is automatic, if we're on the Tuesday in the first leg, we'll be on the Wednesday in the second. If I am correct Celtic are drawn at home to x and we're drawn at home to y. Celtic will decide when to play then we get the other day. We will find out on Friday though as there is no team that Celtic can get that will intervere with the teams we play (as in they cannot play a Danish, Greek, Ukrainian or Turkish side).
-
Yes it should be. Team comes out of the bowl first = home first leg. Date will depend on Celtic though, as if we are both at home in the same leg they will have first choice I believe.

Same way that everyone who predicts the £3m a year (£15m over 5?), just with more research. The Spanish league, which apart from el Clasico falls below all games shown by Sky in the SPL (including those that do not include either Glasgow clubs). They have an £18m a year contract. Granted SkySports Spanish football coverage is far better than their Scottish. The Irish League (Northern Ireland) itself has a £1m TV deal. ESPN have lost their prize with losing the Premier League. Their last remaining British Football is the SPL. They have confirmed that they want to remain in partnership with the SPL. Taking those into consideration if the Board and the Clubs of the SPL cannot get a better deal than £3m then tbh they're in the wrong job.
-
Our TV deal will be higher than £3m a year. ESPN alone will pay more than that. No one knows what SkySports will do - which in itself is bad, as it should have been what Doncaster should have been doing rather than trying to blackmail the SFL.

Commercial Partners Threat To Scottish Football
Wellfan1984 replied to Brazilian's topic in Club Chat
Sky Sports have yet to announce their plans ESPN though... "to have a continued relationship with Scottish football". -
I think that was the key point Diggle was trying to make. Rangers continued to buy and then pay for players to a tune that they could not afford. Remember, this is a club each month failed to pay PAYE and NIC to an amount that outstrips our yearly wage budget. If they did not do this, they'd have been placed in administration, and probably liquidated by March, which would have led to a second place finish for us AND an extra £900K - leading to a small profit again!
-
So you blame the owners of the clubs. Glad we agree
-
Tell me how the clubs could not done anything about it. Any cunt and their dog knew Rangers were heading for liquidation on 14 February 2012? Yet they still went on to agree after this date a TV contract that said if either Old Firm are out of the SPL it can be null and void. They then went on to vote Rangers out of SPL giving the line Sporting Integrity but it was actually because they'd hope the SFL would rip up 50 odd years of the way they ran their league - after the SPL sent them packing 15 years ago. I am sick of the teams (and people higher up) blaming the fall on the fall for Rangers when it was obvious back in February that there was no way for Rangers to recover.
