Youth football in this country is all wrong. Each Region has different rules and ways of doing things, although Wotte and his boys are trying to change. Some (including clubs) just don't think it is needed. How often have you heard the "will need to bulk up", "too light-weight" and by god, if we ever had someone do what players and Xavi, Pirlo etc. did they'd be lynched and labelled "back-pass", "side-ways" and "crab"

Do you believe that. So you think it had nothing to do with the fact the fans reacted at all to the possibility of Brand New FC entering the SPL? Do you honestly think if the fans had stayed quiet that the SPL would have said (or will say) no to Rangers transferring their share to Brand New FC?

So Rangers are not being demoted to the First Division then. They're being promoted to/entered into..... The SPL have no power to demote anyone at all from their league to the SFL - if they're allowed in of course.

Raith have already reiterated that they won't bow to blackmail and their answer is still no I believe. Not sure on the other 3 that already said no. I'd also be shocked if Livingston backed it after being relegated to the third after being days away from liquidation.

I just don't get it though. How can say this is for the good of the Scottish game. We've had the Old Firm collectively in the top division for ever. The SPL has been here since 1998 and well our national side technically (first touch/keeping ball) is behind even some of the minnows of our national game.

The Andrew Wilson article is a little bit of nothing. Is he saying we should back these proposals for the good of Scottish Football or is he saying we need to support our club? If the first then how is blackmail good for Scottish Football? How is saying agree to this or we will cut ties good for Scottish Football?

What most of the clubs actually believe though... 1 Yes, but the fans won't buy that 2. Hell no, they deserve better 3. Since the fans will certainly not agree with number 1 we can work this in, the SFL clubs will do our dirty work for us 4. But just to be sure we'll agree to this too 5. No no no no no, not even considered.

When the SFA came out and hammered Rangers for doing something that is only worsened by Match Fixing I thought we had a new beginning for Scottish Football. We finally had an FA that had the baws to stand up for the sport of Football. Then when the SPL clubs came out one after the other and stated that they'd have heard the rally cry from their fans that Brand New Club FC should be treated the same as if they were any other club. I then thought, when Motherwell decided to take it to the fans to decide, the guys who in the end will be there long after Sky go bust or when Rangers (Brand New Club FC) and Celtic get their 10 year wish and move into some super duper league we were onto something really special with the Society.... I was right we are.... shame it wasn't the great change though. More things change, the more they stay the same. The Board of Motherwell FC - well at least our Chairmen knew this was in the offering from the start. Th(i/ese) bastards have lied to us from the fucking off. Said it when it first broke that we needed Rangers - why should I buy a membership in the 'Well Society when the money would be better spent at Brand New FC - since there survival matters more than anything?

What I want to know is this.... If the SPL clubs do shit out of the real decision by removing them from the SPL, and then the SFL shit out of the real decision and let them into Division 1 - what the fuck happens if they manage to fail to get promoted? We going to go into league re-constructions, allow as many teams as possible in until we get to Rangers? We going to do it like the real old days where we nominate promotion places?

It's actually more likely to fail at the other end of the Third Division. People call the SPL, the Self Preservation League - but it pales in comparison to the SFL, especially the Third Division. Also, would like the three bodies to describe why it is only "potential" relegation/promotion from the Third if a pyramid system is introduced and not "will be" relegation/promotion.

True - looked at the wrong year. But it doesn't matter what position as we'll still have the same amount of teams in Europe next year than we will the year after. Only one nation has less than 1 Champions League spot (Lichtenstein due to not having a league) and only 3 nations (Lichtenstein (1), San Marino and Andorra (both 2)) have less than 3 Europa League place. We'll never, no matter what happens to the SPL clubs will be that bad to reach those lows.

No it doesn't. It will be 18th. We will have 1 CL and 3 Europa places though - and will never drop below this amount.

Ah - doubt it. If players are rejecting movement to NewCo this early they've already had their head turned imo.

If true Scottish football is just as broken as it was last week - and if any club has approached the fans knowing this is the deal they'd be voting for they better make it known. All in all still a disgrace if true.

Well the Livingston fixture with that club is legit. So I'd guess ours is too...

What punishment? They got ten points docked and a small fine. That is all the punishment they have had
