  1. Has there been any update on PAO and their financial problems. I see they've released a few players, one of which is suing them for unpaid wages...
  2. New Years Bank Holiday Derby day we play Celtic.... while Club 12 will play St Johnstone (Dunfermline in with a chance perhaps )
  3. We'll end third in the Group and still get Europa League Football
  4. Although I see the argument about Rangers benefiting from the whole lower wage bill etc. their own Stadium could be their worst enemy in the SFL. It's a fucking state. It costs something horrendous to upkeep a month, and in the SFL I can see many empty sections - which would just add to the final re-pair bill when they hit the SPL in the 3 to 4 years time. I also agree with Lobey_Dosser.
  5. This is the crunch of it. The club that is asking to be entered into the SPL (along with Dundee or Falkirk) is not Rangers Football Club. Rangers Football Club are having their last rights as we speak - once this part is complete there will no Rangers Football club. Rangers have not went down the NewCo route (ala Leeds United), the most recent precedent case in Britain is the fact of Darlington. Relegated 3 divisions, no history and forced to change their name (although their is disposition given to new companies rising from old regarding locals in their name).
  6. All of which would be past as soon as Rangers were kicked out anyway.... If anyone puts on a table to the new club that "if we let you back in then you must vote on this, that and also this" and then believe the representative of that club is a fucking imbecile. Oh wait... it's the SPL
  7. All that has to be said...... "If you look after the sport the money will follow you, if you look after the money you'll kill the sport" - John McBeath
  8. Basically the same statement they released a couple a weeks ago. Read it then, and I still do now that if Motherwell FC back a NewCo blind then the could suffer worse than if they kick them out. Think a lot hinges on the SPL meeting on double contracts tomorrow.
  9. Ayr United (Somerset Park)on 14 July 3pm KO and Raith Rovers (Starks Park) on 17 July KO tbc added to our pre-season
  10. Agreed. Sad thing is those the cunts that run the SPL failed to do this when Rangers were in the SPL, not much chance of them having the ability to do it with them out it. The SPL is not fit for purpose, the clubs running it are not fit for purpose.
  11. What you mean that isn't him signed.... Shit better go back to the other forums and delete my posts
  12. Hearts didn't bump the tax-man! They didn't pay on time, so HMRC went to court - and every time HMRC did it Hearts paid in full. if they didn't Hearts wouldn't be eligible for Europe. Again, no one is talking about screwing the tax-man by going into Administration. No one in Scottish Football has done what Rangers done. Which was take PAYE/NIC away from their staff, but instead of handing it to the tax man every month (which is law) they used it to finance the running of the club.
  13. No they haven't. Hearts have not failed to pay PAYE or NIC. They have been late, but have never failed to pay it. Rangers, meanwhile between the months of August and February didn't only fail to pay their PAYE and NIC on time, they actually used it to run their business and in the end never paid it at all. Compare that to us, our expenses for example for a whole year was 2 and a bit months of that!
  14. You wouldn't have Fatcalf. The Transfer Embargo is still active. Both by the SPL (Administration) and SFA (Judicial Panel)
  15. If Rangers go on with their case against the SFA then the SFA will have no choice but to remove them from membership as it would put the National Team in jeopardy.
  16. There is a difference between personal opinion like "it is a shame what has happened to Rangers" and flat out lying to the fans of the club that employ you by saying "But that would be the end for Scottish football — there certainly wouldn't be any TV deals"
  17. Much dribble... and flat out lies. Sadly, not unexpected. Like most people in some sort of power at SPL clubs they are either to dumb or to scared to realise the truth.
  18. Also, Rangers are asking for a Judicial Review. The SFA's Senior Counsel has literally wrote the book on Judicial Reviews in Scotland Judicial Review in Scotland by Aidan O'Neill Q.C.
  19. True, but FIFA and UEFA threatened the Swiss FA with banishment. Not because of what Sion did though - for not at first backing UEFA's decision to ban them from signing players. The way our media (no surprise) are reporting it makes us look like it is the same thing happening here. As soon as FIFA and UEFA did that though, Sion were deducted a hell of a lot of points which has seen them relegated as it would have caused Basle their place in the Champions League (after knocking Manchester United out).
  20. UEFA have always backed their members against individual clubs - even if they have done nothing publically. UEFA will only act if they believe their Member Associations have done something wrong. For example, the Swiss FA got into trouble with FIFA (and UEFA) because they refused to back UEFA's decision. In fact the Sion thing is nothing like the Rangers matter - and should never have been brought up tbh
  21. Taking Sion as a "test" then Fatcalf is correct I believe. The SFA have handed out punishment The SFA then defender this on appeal Rangers next step would be to go to UEFA. They know they don't have a leg to stand on with UEFA thanks to the money owed to Manchester City, St Etiene and Rapid Vienna! They would then need to go to CAS. And that would be a minimum of about £4m and a likely defeat (on that UEFA have not always allowed a CAS decision to stand). If UEFA find the SFA's actions fair, and Rangers were to go to the Court of Session then UEFA would demand Rangers removed from the SFA - if this is not done THEN we'd have a Sion. The SFA should be getting backing from UEFA officially (even if they have already got it behind closed doors).
  22. Greece - No Denmark/Belgium - No Turkey - Yes - Can be purchased at the Airport for £10 Ukraine - According to their website anyone in the EC does not require a visa (if I read it right).
  23. You need to click it again which sends you to Youtube.
  24. Draw date 20 July 2012 We don't need the Second Round to be completed to find out who we're playing as we're in the First Round of Non-Champions can enter. Also note Celtic are not so lucky as their draw is done at the same time, but the second round is not completed until after the draw for the third round. There is a minimum 11 days between the draw and the first leg. There is then 2-3 days between the second leg and the Play-Off Draw for both the Champions League and Europa League, with another 11-13 days between drawn and first leg depending on which tournament and which day we play.
