Would never have scored with a tap in. He made the right decision - just got the height wrong.

That's what I thought at the game, and that is what I thought after the highlights but the media have all mentioned Forster made a mistake. That goal came about because of the never say die attitude McHugh showed.
-
The one thing I don't like, people seem to point out the mistake by Forster leading to our goal more than the don't give up attitude of McHugh. Excellent tackle, and to have the awareness to get back up and take the ball! Also another note, just added to why I picked Lasley as MotM as he was the only one up there with McHugh when he scored.

Wow! What a lot of nonsense you posted there Albi! I was expecting one of your pictures. At least that would have been worth looking at. So you saying that our players are not allowed to misplace a pass at all? Fuck me, I think even teams like Barcelona wished they could find a player with every single pass, and never make a mistake! But since they can't we're expected to be able to have players that can.

Yes. Last defeat was a 2-0 defeat in November 2008. Since then we have had 4 wins and 4 draws.
-
Dundee United have the second worst defence in the league, while they have the best strike-force outside the Old Firm. This could be a high scoring game. At this time, going 3-2 to us at this time.

Lasley. Was again doing the work at times of the two central midfielder, his engine was still going till the end and when Daley broke right at the end he was the only player that could be arsed busting a gut.

The only two things Higdon done wrong today, was be flaked off the ball by someone defender looking at him and too many ties expected the ball to drop for him, while it was obvious Aberdeen were not going to give him the time to bring it down and use his feet. Brown did his home-work there. Sad fact is, McHugh was on the park 5 minutes and won more and out-muscled defenders more times than Higdon did all game, but ffs the shouts from the Cooper were fucking abysmal. Nae need of that, as Geedub said humans respond to encouragement not the shit you got from the Cooper.
-
I was thinking about that last night and was wondering, can Milne get the appointment wrong again. Would rather see Aberdeen relegated under Brown...
-
Looking at it again, it wasn't. Unlucky then for the SFL clubs as there is no all SFL tie
-
The draw was seeded. With Hibs being the only non-seeded SPL then Celtic are probably right now complaining about the draw...
-
Not sure if winning 5-0 and 4000 (ok maybe a 100 odd) fans singing "You'll be sacked in the morning, sacked in the morning" would still be even better than that...

So let me get this right... Motherwell to win 1-0, from a player (Craigan? Clancy?) who should have been sent off for stopping a goal scoring opportunity, instead the referee books Fallon for diving and from the resulting free-kick we gain a corner (which was actually a goal kick) and our player leaps like a salmon hit the ball with his hand, which hits the underside of the bar/cleared of the post by the defender, but the assistant gives the goal? Sounds good to me
-
Due to fouling Fallon, stopping him when 1-on-1 with the keeper, which the referee booked Fallon for diving, despite being a stonewaller...
-
Poor tactics, substitutions etc. Did I miss the whole McHugh coming on part, who scored a very good winner for us. Not the managers fault the official struggled with the offside rule.
-
Not really. Some of The best players, now and in the past only used their weaker foot to stand on. Saying that most including ours if the ball falls right could use weaker but won't. But then it is the same all over the world. Pros earning top money though should be able to use both feet as a minimum of being a pro
-
Well compared to the rest who have played dross a lot longer than 10 minutes. Higdon's current partner must be closing 300 odd minutes of dross....
-
Murray not playing might be a bonus for them. As slow as a week in jail. Seems like it will be two SPL sides playing their first team (bar injury and suspension) so I will go 3-1 Us

Tbf it works wonders in Europe. Scots (Brits?) and just set in their ways. See it all the time with sideways/backwards passes met with groans, shouts of 4-4-2 up and doon the country (when 4-5-1 can be just as attacking) and that is before you explain to them formations mean fuck all, it is tactics that decide if it is attacking or not. I would love a left footed winger, but with our current tactic he'd be wasted on the left. Get one in stick him on the right, Humph/Daley on left then we can maybe use the attacking full backs and current tactics correctly
-
Not true. See anytime, Arsenal struggle or Barcelona v Inter Milan. The main difference is the good teams 9/10 are better by a decent margin than their opponents. We're not.

Got a feeling Hollis may get the nod again. I think it would be fair. Didn't do anything wrong in the last round, and needs games to keep match sharpness. Give him the League Cup.
-
No, Pompey were rejected Europe because they failed to apply for a UEFA Certificate. The fact their Admin within the club did not believe they'd either a) be in the FA Cup Final or b) would not be given it due to administration is neither here nor there. Pompey lost their appeal due to UEFA having strict rules. Officially Mallorca were the first to fall under the new Financial Fair Play rewards. Although other clubs have fell foul too, although most are in other leagues. Also, if we take Rangers' place in the Champions Quals, it wouldn't be Malmo we'd be getting, it would be the fourth best teams in Spain, England or 3rd best teams in nations like Germany...
-
No Rangers would be banned from Europe unless they can prove to UEFA they are not in Administration by the end of March. Going into administration after this date (even during the close season) will also not protect them from banishment, even if the SFA sign their UEFA Certificate and say they can play in Europe. This has already been shown when Mallorca were banned from Europe despite the Spanish Football Association given them the UEFA Certificate. Mallorca even offered to put up a bond of £5m to cover all travel, wages, security costs and it was rejected. Rangers would be no different.

Add to the fact he isn't playing (or on the bench as some clubs pay it to subs tae) so not scoring goals or hatricks then yeah

The 3-3 draw at Ibrox was mainly down to the introduction of Murphy. But I see what you say, but it really isn't the measure of it, as I can't remember Maguire doing much against the Old Firm.
