5-1 tae us. Murphy double, Higdon, Law and Hammell with the goals
-
Doesn't really mean anything, as players fail at one club and do well at another all the time. Even when they move to a better side
-
Friday at 2pm I think.
-
Of course that has nowt to do with both teams play. Rangers soak up and break, Celtic are the complete opposite. It is obvious to most people why we do better against Celtic. Or are you also saying the players are awaiting the call from Ibrox as last time I checked McCall has not set foot on the park
-
He was excellent against ICT. We just dont have a penalty box striker. I wonder what people sometimes class as a good ball. Humphrey has some awful crosses but for every bad cross there is a good one. The amount of crosses he puts in between the penalty spot and six yard line I bet is a lot more than people here think. Cause Nae fucker is there to put it in the net/manage to blast over is not his fault. As for the game, maybe put in Carswell and Forbes in the centre. With Hollis in goal tae. Should be able to see them off, 4-0, Higdon x2, Forbes and Law with the goals!
-
Hateley was playing right back on Sunday? Not for us he wasn't! For the record there were 6 decent balls played into the box, 2 from Hateley, 3 from Humphrey and one from Law... Not including corners.... Or the "cross" that ended up being our best chance of the game!

Wellarmy, same ere. Saying that, we are the perfect team for Rangers. High possession, attacking team. It was that bad and obvious before the third I bet my brother in law a fiver Rangers would score within there next 5 passes :-( Still looking forward to the very successful season if the weekend is anything to go by.
-
When was it announced we had 'money for a player'. When you have clubs in England paying 5 or 6 figure sums for loans we're lucky to even be in that market. As for the squads, most would probably (all?) have named their provisional squad but it makes sense (just like Spain, Portugal) to allow them till the end of the window. Also the Football League can still sign players.
-
Kids with toys.... Not sure what is more sad, someone notices it or someone actually uses that pish. As for the game - fuck it 1-0, Higdon with an arse volley
-
Limelight? Cause we're playing Old Firm side? Really, sure we have had the same amount of coverage as we did last few weeks, just a different angle now! As for signing for OF, any Scot who does so is an idiot or lacks ambition.. Or both!
-
I would accept being humped by them in everyother match we played against them this season if we could just beat them 1-0 this weekend as it would mean a) a win over them b.) 5 cleansheets and c) 6 points clear of them with them only having 1 game in hand.
-
After seeing the highlights, referee got the free-kick decision spot on. People need to remember, getting the ball doesn't mean fair challenge. Can't say anything about the other "incidents" in the game as they were not shown
-
Spot on. The discussion here is one of the most annoying things about football is this country, where people think getting the ball up the park as fast as possible is the only way to play football. There are two others up there though... "Close him doon" when it is 0-0 or we're winning and the opponent are passing about their own half - fucking idiotic, and the other is "needs to bulk up to make it" Only in fucking Scotland (Britain?) is not being bulky enough a problem
-
Sitting here at a wedding, fucking fantastic that we're now 3 games into the season top off the league, undeafeted and yet to concede a goal! Anyone know what our best start is?
-
The only thing I don't get about the whole case is we seem to be one of those nations that don't call up our best Under 21 players. On Under 21 duty, you had 4 strikers Murphy, Goodwillie, Maguire and Griffiths. All but Murphy has been capped at either B Level or Senior level, while Murphy was the one that from watching the Under 21's you'd have classed as international class - even when Scotland were rotten (being humped by Norn Iron 3-1) Murphy looked the best player on the park by a country mile - between the two sides. It is not a new thing though, the amount of players that are lost between Under 21 and Senior level.
-
A fair few derbies.... Draw would have only gone better for us if we were at home
-
Who is the worst ranked team left in it? Is it Stenny?
-
Agreed, and as a spectacle I think if we draw them the match would be one of the best of the season, with Livingston looking to play football whenever possible, but I honestly think they are the best team currently in Division 1. Back with a vengeance tbh.
-
I'm actually confident about this game, actually more so than I was against Kilmarnock. I think MelvinBragg, got it spot on (sorry if it wasn't, can't be arsed looking back) Higdon being out could actually be a nice little bonus for us. Pass the ball around their brutes will cause them more hassle than having Higdon up there. 2-0 Murphy and Law.
-
Despite being just up the road, the one club I don't want is Livingston. Anyone at home or anyone but Livingston away.
-
Is that not like the 5th or 6th time you have mentioned it? If you wanna keep it up take it to pm or find another forum please.
-
Not so worried about that has apart fae Old Firm and Hearts is there many with 7 first team starters on the bench/currently out injured?
-
I think it is more to do with the we'll play you if you give me your stadium deal? No? Although if it has anything to do with McGrillen then I'll be more than happy to pay - if the missus doesn't drop this weekend!
-
What are the usual entry prices for U19 games?
-
I think the opposite tbh. I can't remember when Hammell had someone who would cover him like Law has. Just look where Law was when Hammell scored on Saturday. I think Hammell be used to 2-on-1 now since it is basically always been the way for him
