Plenty of people did. A lot of those that got corporate tickets for the Leeds game had problems with the buses. In fact I think everyone at my table for it got the tickets due to the bus problems they had.
-
It was announced a couple of days before on the official site and subsequent twitter and facebook account I believe.

Congrats to the boys. Where we sign Hetherington from? And who is the second English signing after Angol?
-
I think changes would have had to be made. The number would have to be lowered to allow for the name of the player which I think would have spoiled a little bit of the magic for some and not to mention the sponsor.

Aye, usually an away banker but think we'll be just to good for them. Think 2-0 with Murph getting both
-
I think our biggest problem is Murphy and Higdon have Naw clicked yet, which is to be expected. At times Higdon was winning the flick on Murphy had already come deep. Think after a month or so when there is a betters understanding they will feed off each other and be clinical

TBF it is not "can't play against us" more "Can't play against parent club". It is an SPL rule, sadly. It used to be up to the parent club if he played or not, but the SPL changed it as Rangers were allowing players to do so, while Celtic weren't so to stop it happening they made it for everyone. But agree, for that reason I see no reason to sign a loan deal with a fellow SPL club
-
Anyone confirm our away kit is Silver/Grey with Claret & Amber trim on the arm, same template as home? (sorry if I missed it)
-
A loan from who? He is a free. Although due to not having a club he is getting a very nice pay packet fae the Brum this month
-
Scary thing is. Doesn't fucking shock me tbh.

How did Muir look? Been what, two decades since we brought our own keeper through the ranks?
-
You think we could lower our wages even more and still be even semi-competitive at any level of Europe? How far do you want us to go down? We're already out muscled by countries of our size and 3rd, 4th, 5th level clubs in the bigger leagues?
-
Sadly the SPL don't allow trialists to play. Need to be in the SFL for that Think we could sign him up as an amateur though, although not sure if the SPL closed that totally after the Livingston/Dundee fiasco.

What German model, the model that TV money and sponsorship is the single most important thing to club making money, leading them to have lower than expected prices for entry? OK, if you can find a sponsor that is willing to give us millions in sponsorship a year, and a TV company willing to give us even more in TV money every year then I'm sure the club will look into it. Or are you talking about the safe standing? Since the safe standing is actually have the option to sit down, and places like Hampden can have 25-30,000 people standing shows you, you don't need safe standing areas to allow standing to happen. All Scottish Football needs for allowing fans to stand is an understanding between the fans, stewards and police - as it does happen in this country rather well on the International Front. Germany is a horrible comparison for Scottish Football - as is Norway.

I guess it depends on how much we got, and how many partners are willing to get involved. But if all things go to plan I think the big lot are... A Night Club A Sports and Function Suite A Hotel Conference Suite Office Block If Synthetic pitches are available then.... 7 days a week use of the pitch meaning less rent going out somewhere else U19's/U17's ability to use the pitch too - again less money going elsewhere. Rent of the pitch to Joe Public No Undersoil heating Saying that, if we were abloe to bulldoze Fir Park for the most part and re-build on the very spot then great, but it isn't going to happen.
-
If a stadium is souless then there is only one group to blame. The fans. The fans make a stadium. TBH I couldn't give a fuck what it looked like, it could be four grass banks for all I care. Fir Park though, not because of the way it looks or that is dead. Costs far too much to maintain, money that could be spent on much better and useful things. We need to be careful though, no point building other revenue streams as they don't always work. Livingston did it - lost money, Kilmarnock did it - lost money. Nor should we move until the SPL see sense and allow synthetic pitches - would save, and in the end make us more money.

The fact they didn't officially sign for us until Friday last week? Or the fact they could have been on holiday as they were doing their summer planning by the English season - since that is where they were last season. You think Motherwell are the only club to do this? In fact, Real Mallorca (between two full squads) only had 9 players reporting for first day of pre-season training. I bet we had a lot more than that
-
Thought it would be more that way, rather than the "OMFG only one more player coming in!!!!!1111oneoneone" that people were saying on here
-
What date would you like the foreign signings (English etc.) to join pre-season training when they can't sign on officially till the 1st July - added with the 2nd and 3rd being a weekend this year? There are teams right now that will have half their players missing when pre-season starts, there will be teams out there that will be lucky to have a half a dozen players when it comes time to start pre-season training. It is common practice around the world for players to come back at certain times, and it isn't all at the same time.

Zaine was released by Spurs in the summer
-
Maybe, tbh I think our four forward thinking Midfielders could all do a job and are inter-changerable (Humphrey, Law, Murphy, Forbes). Still I question why Rangers would want Fleck to come here, as I would think Rangers would want him to be almost certain of a start. I'm not sure if paying clubs to play their loan players is legal here, like in Europe but if it is not, I cannot see the benefit from a Rangers' point of view
-
Been the rumour the last three years tbh. Always linked with us by Rangers fans I know. Might happen though with the friendship of McCoist/McCall - although where would he play? Seems lost on the left wing, and will Nicky Law not be signed to play the attack minded midfielder of a 3?
-
No it wouldn't. Nacho Novo would be an excellent signing for any SPL side (outside the Old Firm). To either use in a 4-4-2 with Higdon or as an impact sub. Would score a fair whack of goals for us too.

Why would the be proposed in the future? How does one get from a possible stadium move to changing team colours and badges and name or whatever? Does it happen often? Teams move stadiums a lot but keep everything else the same - some even change names while keeping the original colours...
