  1. But it is alot to us. Hearts gave Sutton a better deal than we did and he is on less than £3k a week, although if you add bonuses it is just over same so do we even have the money to offer that - to a player that has had a torrid time with injuries.
  2. Probably cause they're one of our main rivals in the SPL - although if they don't sort something out can see them battling relegation, while I think we'll still be well clear of that!
  3. Problem with Fleck is he is not wide player. More of a number 10 or support forward. Rangers seem to play him in the wing. Would be a good signing for almost all SPL sides outside the Old Firm
  4. Wikipedia stats are League Only. Goal against United was in the cup!
  5. Charlton Researcher's thoughts on Llera
  6. Aye. To be closer to his kid is it not? Is this not the reason why he "retired" from international football as it was the only time he got to spend with his kid was when Cardiff took an international break?
  7. We have a Directors Loan due to John Boyle. Not sure if this has changed from the accounts up to 30/05/2010 and this year though.
  8. Even better than that, he signaled for us to play advantage as we had the ball.
  9. XARA effort that is Amber with Claret Motorola as sponsor. You know the one with the full Claret collar Cannie remember the year it is fae though.
  10. Doubtful. It would take some very big teams to be knocked out in the 3rd Round, coupled with all big teams that enter early in the Champions League to be in the Group Stages or knocked out in Round 2. If Celtic make it, they are likely to be seeded though (if we win the Cup). Our Co-Eff is in the 7.xxx, I think you need at least a 13.xxx to look for a seeded place. This season, BATE were the lowest ranked seeded team in the Europa League Play-off and they had a Co-eff of 13.308.
  11. Ladywell, why should he change the record. He is spot on, it is excellent for Motherwell Football Club that we have an international player, going to be playing in a major Championship - or at least be in the squad for one (The Gold Cup) - and how would it not be deserved. He's plugged away this season and improved his game? Also, do you not want to congratulate the player?
  12. A thread on him on the Jamaica Football Forum HERE
  13. I agree about the pressure. Especially when almost every big one off game Celtic have lost under Lennon. Ross County, Braga, Utrecht, Rangers (CIS), ICT.... See where you are coming from regarding soak up pressure but when you have a guy like Commons that will ping them from anyway within 35 yards I think soaking up pressure tends to lead to siting back allowing players, like Commons a target to hit.
  14. Yeah but that 4-4-2 is basically a 4-2-4. We'd be overrun and out of the contest by half time.
  15. As many have said before it has to be 4-5-1 (Wellarmy's team), don't let them settle, battle for every inch of grass. Get Humphrey to pin back Izzy, which in turn will force Celtic to pin back Commons too. You can still have a go from a 4-5-1 - we did it at Fir Park. Scary the amount of people that think 4-4-2 with Murphy and Humphrey playing is a good idea!
  16. I really doubt it will appeal to those not already here, as it would likely only be two games at the start of the season (as I don't think we have yet enough points to be seeded) for the round we enter if we win the cup. It might tempt those already here, and it would possible give us a one maybe two extra 0's onto our budget but we're not a regular/long term european side.
  17. Jennings rejected/didn't bother speaking to them then? Can't see a place for both in the new Dundee Utd budget/side.
  18. Rumour doing around is that United going to be going for Jennings. Anyone else heard it?
  19. TBF, one of the biggest discussions on this board is usually to do with ticket prices - so when you get a surcharge of x amount per ticket (not per transaction which is normal practice) you can't really be shocked can you?
  20. If Livi went into administration cause of that... why did we since our sales were in house? They went into administration the same reason we did. I think it is great we do it (although the fact you can get two adult Rangers tops for the same price as a 3 year olds Motherwell top is a bit of a shitter) but we can't complain if Motherwell Town Centre advertises their products if the club don't allow them to support, in anyway, the home town club.
  21. tbh I don't blame JJB for that, nor Rangers. It is not their fault that Motherwell FC do not allow other outlets to sell their kits. I remember seeing plenty of Livingston kits in JJB Livingston so I'm sure JJB Motherwell would sell Motherwell kits, with advertising posters et al if Motherwell FC (PSL?) allowed them to. Since they don't and they have a deal with Rangers to sell their kits why shouldn't they?
  22. Nonesense. If we were humping a team 4-0, 5-0 etc. in a must win game, in their stadium we'd be the exact same.
  23. We can confirm we are looking into making it easier to exchange details/tickets for those that do not have season tickets and those who do but have a spare allocation via the site. Please hold on and we'll try and get something sorted ASAP
  24. Paul McBride QC withdrew that statement, and apologised
