Nice wee rant, but how many Motherwell fans do you think there are in Livingston? Do they?
-
Exactly. I could understand if there was a max 1000 left but at the very least there will be 4000 left, more like 6000 left after the initial sale
-
Yes 16000 due to "segregation issues"
-
Still not seeing why we need a ballot, can't remember one being done for the league cup final
-
If segregation is the problem, how do they do it when it is an all Old Firm final?
-
Probably just me but I am still wondering why we would need a ballot, and instead why it wouldn't go directly to general sale after say 7 days of ST sales.
-
I think some see it at as your three mates are getting special treatment because they know someone (you) who has a season ticket holder. Saying that I would be shocked if there was more than 9000 tickets sold before Ballot (really no need) or General Sale. Plenty of tickets - and if not, you'd think we'd have a "if you sell that lot here is some more pool" On the other note, hopefully we won't see tickets on ebay or the such forcing Motherwell fans to pay over the odds for tickets - sure Scotland did something where they banned ticket louts from the SSC.
-
They would be, if the Club paid for the ticket. The question is would the club do that/could they afford to do that?
-
Randolph's recovery was excellent when he fumbled that cross, and I think if the defender didn't get the block he would have saved the shot at the end of that too. An excellent save for the point blank header too. Excellent play by Jones when he turned the boy and then rode a late swipe.
-
Another good thing is when you read back match threads. The 6-6 game was priceless reading Hibs.net. This game is just as good on Jamboskickback - as is the thread on "why we will not beat Motherwell"
-
Then it should be General Sale from the start. If ST Holders get first shout on it - it should be season ticket holders that get first shout. Not Season ticket holders and their mates (who have likely been to as many games as another non-season ticket holder that has to wait for a general sale).

We're still miles behind most of Europe though. I've not heard of a foreign fan being hung from a railing because he was the same nationality as the foreign club (in daylight, and full view of witnesses - although there were no witnesses). We don't have stabbings every week, or rights in the terraces like our Central/Eastern Europeans. To most of Europe's casual world, and other parts of the world ours isn't even worthy of being called handbags. Better add, as has already been discussed don't care if people want to have a little scuffle before/after the match as long as they pay to watch the match/have a season ticket and keep it away from the public tbh.

My birthday the next day - we win the cup every fucker on this forum is invited to a pub/club/my house for it* *may or may not be true

It is to do with what round you entered. The longer you have been in Scottish the more money you get (after fines are paid)
-
Why risk a player or two in a game which we possible can't lose or gain a place in the league. So much could go wrong, a suspension, injury etc. If we risk players in a run mill game. Celtic if they win their games, and Rangers drop points could have it done before then (which could be a bad thing too)
-
Can't see it but Probably, if anything more to do with asking for what is our right. Half the tickets...

Craigan for me too. I think McCall must have told him to keep it simple, as you could see he was itching to punt it for one of the front 4 to go chase it, but instead everytime passed it to either Hammell or Hutchinson. What a way to score your first goal in five years too. Although a lot has been said about the keeping for it, I'm not sure the keeper would have saved it if he stayed on his line. Fantastic header. His volley at the end was priceless - I think some of that was through his lack of punts up the park all game. Special mentions to everyone else though - Hutchinson seems to be getting better everytime I see him, although took a while for him to find his footing in the first half as Saints dominated in the air - winning a few headers in ourbox but after that he again cruised through the game. I seen on one of the other team boards (think it was United) that we have the third best team in the SPL and they were thankful for our mid-season problems. We might look at it as nonsense but on any given day we could give anyone a game
-
You missed the obvious. The year ended in a 1....
-
Merge the two topics as they seem to be talking about the same thing - well I did until someone else deleted the other.
-
I thought McCall was correct to keep him on until half time, but the change should have been made during the interval. 3-0 and playing a team that could have played all day and not scored. You could see it with the rest of the team. At times in the second half Hateley would get the ball and would look for the pass to Humphrey, Humphrey would either look away, or want it, then Hateley would totally blank him and choose another option. Not sure what kind of fitness tests we run, but it was obvious from about 3 minutes in he was not himself, limping everytime he walked etc. but I guess it just shows you his willingness to play in the match, which I think we can all undertand.
-
No replays were done away with after the Hibs v Dunfermline debacle.
-
Of course he could. There are some very average players and teams in the Premier League, not to mention those that will be promoted.
-
Giant Motherwell v St Johnstone thread on the go. We tend to keep all match discussions in one thread. Cheers. As for your team, if Jeffers is fit got to play him. With Murphy, Jeffers and Humphrey playing alongside Sutton I think that will actually destroy St Johnstone. *moved to Match Thread

Any word on our walking wounded?

Cannie agree with that mate. So a Season Ticket has supported the club at the start of the season, so because of that he/she and a mate/partner/guy they#ve just met gets a ticket for a Cup Final before someone who might have been to every away game this season, or all but a few home games - all because one guy can prove he has a season ticket... Unless the T&C's say anything then I would not be shocked if there is just a general sale (maybe a day or two of season ticket sale only).
