No he didn't. He had 13 players.

While failing badly at the job as they realise being a top grade manager doesn't run in the family.
-
Least it's a manager that bleeds Claret & Amber - might not be our Claret & Amber, but still.
-
What more could we want? Meh. What more could he want? A few hundred grand to spend on players and a small fortune in wages for new players.... Reason why he isn't current Kilmarnock manager.
-
No Accies last two postponements have been because they have no undersoil heating. If they did, their games would have gone on despite the "uprecedented bad weather" (three winters running that line has been used in some context). So only indirectly is the weather to blame.
-
Accies have only been up a few seasons - and every season they've had problems...
-
In theory it would also allow the Old Firm to play a lot more youngsters as, again in theory they should be in the Championship playoff a few months before anyone else. Which could lead to a few more Scots getting their chance to shine.
-
So does a league season tbh. Not unheard of for a team to be decimated long term regarding an injury or two for their best all singing all dancing signing. Playoffs on fairness are not right, but for Scottish football they're perfect for it. Creates interest at the top of the table for much longer than the average 3 months of the start of the season. If it is good enough for relegation, it is good enough for the championship race.

I don't think you do for the SPL anyway. I know you need coaching badges but wasn't there someone recently that managed in the SPL but couldn't do Europe or something as such - or had to rush their Pro-Licence or something?
-
We're not in Europe so it doesn't matter. He's getting it in January

I can't believe the shit about inexperiance on this site! Probably someone, who will become Barcelona's most successful manager of all time would have been boo'd and chastised if he was ours as he didn't have any experiance either. What about the other top league managers, especially probably the best in the world - Mourinho, if SL Benfica ( a much bigger, and a team with so much more to lose than us) didn't take a shot at this guy with no experiance in management when would he appeared?
-
Why do people get hung up on "what have they done before" shite? OK our past for that is not great, but it does work! If that was the way of thinking for some clubs, then their would never be new managers in the game. Look at it this way, Mourinho, had done fuck all in football as a player or coach (hence his nickname according to Barcelona fans) before he went into management - look at him now! Same with Wenger, if someone didn't take a chance on him, or Alex Ferguson, or Walter Smith!
-
Does the whole idea of a forum fly past you. So what you're saying we should only have threads on what? After Match Reports and After Press Release discussion? Everything else we talk about in just nonesence...
-
I bet Falkirk fans would disagree. Playing the ball between your defenders for 50 passes does not equal good football - sometimes you might get the odd forward pass to the sitting midfielder but it was not good "attacking" football. Good possession football, but possession means fuck all when you have no ounce of forward thinking. With Hibs he was the complete opposite and paid the price of like winning 1 game in so many matches!

They were acting hard. In their initial statement They came out and basically said Milne and Miller have done a shit job at Aberdeen. Now they're best friends, and have always had close working relationship. Someone has backed down from their mighty high horse, and it certainly isn't Aberdeen.
-
ok then Motherwell were complete arseholes in the first place with their initial statement - especially when they hit out at Aberdeen - especially the part about the poor performance of the board at Aberdeen FC. It like Motherwell had acted tough, then Aberdeen have got wind of it, so Motherwell have shat it! Especially the bit of working well with Aberdeen in the past! Acting hard until those who you accuse of doing you wrong question you about it... silly silly Motherwell.
-
+1 If that is true - the statement makes it look like we#re even more shit bags! Fucking shocking decision to keep this under raps. Sadly I believe we've chickened out - like we seem to do every fucking time!
-
Nah the price from Blue Square was "Motherwell Player to be Sent Off". Does those kind of bets only cover straight reds?
-
Law 12 Yellow Card: Dissent by word or action Red Card: abusive language or gesture... The same rule just worded different with a different punishment. It is up to the referee. The only difference between Jennings and others (barring Fletcher on Monday) was the fact he touched him on the shoulder)...
-
Why isn't there a half dozen red cards in every match then? There should have been about 9 in the United v Arsenal game - not to mention Craigan being sent aff in the first ten minutes on Tuesday - followed by half the Motherwell team in the second half and Kevin Kyle. Football is gonna be a 7-a-side from at least the 30 minute mark now And how do you know he used "foul and abusive language" - as this is a wide context - FIFA do not mention what "foul and abusive" language is. I believe the reason Motherwell are not appealing is because it's Jennings word against the referees. No one can prove what was or wasn't said!
-
I don't think Gow played as bad as some have said, although he certainly didn't play as well as some have said. His decision making was woeful. We had in the second half a three on one breakaway and his awful pass you wouldn't even see on a Sunday League Division 10 match! I'll re-watch the match when I get home from work but I don't think there were any stand-outs and if I was going on a scoring system then Lasley would win it due to the plus point of scoring!
-
In other words, why the fuck did we have a Scottish Referee refereeing last night? This game is from the weekend of the "strike". We should have had some foreign referee. The SFA not even following their own rules now!
-
Mitchell van der Gaag if we can talk him and his family to returning to Scotland from Funchal is my number 1

The problem Brown will have is when he goes to Milne in the summer to replace the players that will leave and Milne gives him a cheque worth about "2 Aberdeen Angus Steaks and a Packet of Crisps" because once again Milne has been forced to go to the bank and put his Construction Business on the line for Aberdeen Football Club. Milne must have the gift of the gab or Brown is becoming very naive in his old age if he thinks there will be money to spend to bring in a "quality" of player that say we already have never mind a quality better than we have.
