  1. Not sure about that Gaag. Kalmar sit 0-0 with Dacia after their first leg, which is at home. Dacia will be the easiest game out of them all.
  2. Agreed. Jennings was playing as a sitting midfield, central defender, right back and left back last night. It was so much easier for Lasley to make his name last night as Jennings job was to cover any defender that moved out of position, which weirldy both Craigan and Reynolds did often. I though Murphy did well in the first half. Held his line well, although maybe a yard of the pace which he wouldn't be if we were quarter/half way through the season. Sutton in the first half was a beast. Connected almost everytime with Randolph's passes to him. The tyoe of balls by Reynolds, if Craigan had done would have seen a 3-5 page thread denouncing Craigan as the worst player to ever play at Fir Park. The young lad had no chance once Reynolds got the ball, but he did make some good runs, and more will come from him.
  3. Who have held Real Madrid in the Champions League Group Stages, and were unlucky to lose in Madrid. BATE would pass us off the park. Which is rather sad really.
  4. Regarding loan signings. The thing in our favour and many other small clubs is the new Premiership Squad Rules. 25 players, although Under 19's (I think - maybe 21) don't require to be registered. As it stands Sunderland have 29 players, and they won't be a team with the biggest squad. @ Dodge, oh aye, forgot we offered him a contract
  5. Well our odds on us winning last season shot up did they not after both home leg performances. TBH though I would rather have it settled by the end of the home game than getting good odds away
  6. Coke might be gone but remember we have also given a fair few players improved contracts. All those 3 year deals will be taking chunks out of any wage budget we have.
  7. Checking with OddsChecker the best found are First Leg Match Only Result Bookmaker Odds Best Exchange Motherwell 3/10 - Bwin 37/100 - Betfair Draw 9/2 - Bet365 43/10 - Betfair Breidablik 9/1 - Bet365 37/5 - Betfair
  8. It's not on MyP2P so I guess there is a total TV blackout again. Sportsound has the Open from St Andrews till 7pm. No mention of the game though, so I guess it's a total blackout there too.
  9. Neither can Aiden McGeady - and he's worth over Ā£5m
  10. Spot on. Anyone who thought this game would have got a Saturday kick off on Europa week is an idiot. Games are 99.9% of the time always moved if one of the clubs are involved the previous Thursday - of which Hibs are, and hopefully so wuill we be. If anyone bought advanced tickets then they're the fools - not Motherwell's fault. As for the Celtic game - again, is anyone else really shocked? It's Celtic, it's at home - it's not like the game be moved is a new thing. Just happens practically every season.
  11. Same reason Charlton do. Cause he better than any of our other sitting midfielders/right backs? He's probably physically fitter than our whole squad too.
  12. No chance getting Dailly 1. Still good enough to play at a higher level 2. His family are based in London 3. He'll be on at least 4K

Very good point. When people talk of casualties of war, they sometimes forget about those, although they came back alive, they would never be the same. Some would come back and wish they were the ones to fall. Lest We Forget

So if more countries when the way of Russia war would have been less frequent... Aye the years 1920-1921 were very proud years for Russia, the famines, epidemics, the mass executions not to mention the collapse of the economy. Truely it was the way forward. The Great Purges - another great showing by the perfect way. Conquest of Poland in 1939... paid for by the death of the common people 1940.. Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia fall to the Soviets... paid by the death of the common people 1940.. The Katyn Massacre... 1945... Conquest of Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Czechoslovakia... paid by the death of the common people 1962... Novocherkassk Massacre - starving workers protest about rise in food prices and poor working conditions.. met by armed forces... Not to mention the millions of deaths in the Siberian Gulags...

History of Russia not your stong point then? That's exactly what happened in Russia between 1917 and 1990 Anyway, lest we forget...
  17. Not sure about in Falkirk - but on average in Scotland about 300 more than Motherwell
  18. Don't be daft. If he does sign they'll be people slagging him off before he ever makes a team sheet... hell some have already questioned signing a lower league player already, when if I'm not mistaken Dundee United walked third place and a cup win by basically building a team of lower league players
  19. Martinez was signed from a then, League 1 Club....
  20. Non League football in Spain which has teams that were playing La Liga Football not too long ago - in fact from next season a team that was playing La Liga Football Three years ago. That "Non-League" would probably do over a fair few Scottish Clubs - including SPL Clubs.
  21. Ayr United have downgraded this match from the Centenary Celebration to a regular friendly because the fans moaned that they were only playing a diddy club...
  22. More info from an Icelandic guy... So basically, they are us of Iceland
  23. No they're definetly in the Europa League. The play Mogren of Montenegro in the first round, followed by a match against Maccabi Tel Aviv
  24. Everywhere I have checked except the UEFA website has us playing either Santa Coloma or Mogren....
  25. An Icelandic guys take on all Icelandic fixtures in the Europe FH - BATE could be a decent game but wish for BATE to take out FH. Fylkir - Zhodino don't know anything about Zhodino, it could be a good game but I'm not sure if Fylkir can go through. KR - Glentoran normally I'd give KR a decent chance against Glentoran, but they have been really poor this season so I don't believe they will be able to do anything. BreiĆ°ablik - Motherwell this could be a good game but I don't think BreiĆ°ablik will be able to take down Motherwell. And yes, they're in Europe due to winning the National FA Cup.
