We played Llanelli in the First Round, Albanian Club in the Second and a Romanian in the Third. There is no geographic seeding (like there was in the Inter-Toto) as if I'm not mistaken we were put in a pot with not just Llanelli but some Azerbaijan mob too in the draw.
Each draw has 5seeded clubs and 5 non-seeded clubs - with each country being safe from having clubs from the same nation playing each other.
If Romanov doesn't think Stokes is good enough for Hearts I doubt he'll see the Juke as good enough. Saying that, if the rumours are to be believed Hearts will be signing all their players from Kilmarnock.
Since it mentions Motherwell as his club does he become officially our second ever play to play in the World Cup after Tommy Coyne, although he's on loan?
Aye it is....
Apart from Brown & Knox are liked by the players - and I bet Knox is a tougher task manager than Gannon was albeit fairer
Apart from Brown isn't going to disappear down to England when he's meant to take training
Apart from Brown seems to be rather good at Man Management, on and off the field
Apart from Brown isn't going to throw on a 17 year old kid when there is someone of more veteran status (ala Sutton) on the bench to stroke his own ego
Apart from Brown seems to find it easier juggling soot
Apart from Brown is a "Motherwell man!!"
No as we got a point from the game, but if the goal counted we would have likely gone on to win - which would have given us 2 points extra - give us a 3 point lead.
Not sure what it has to do with O'Brien but here it is
Attend High 9,335 (v Rangers, 12/09/2009)
Attend Low 3,544 (v Dundee Unitd 18/04/2010)
Average 5,307 (only St Mirren, St Johnstone and Hamilton have a lower average than us)
Sutton for me. Be it left wing or an upfront target man he just seems to do it for us. Excellent performances which he can be very proud of his season this year.
Special mention to Coke (minus pass back), The Juke, O'Brien (moaning wee bastard but last night he had every right - the amount of space he got without acknowledgement was criminal) and Humphrey when he came on. The urgency on his face at 6-4 was phenomenal.
Never understood why people on here wanted him binned in the summer as it was evident in the Europa League games he would bring alot to the team. Has had an excellent season, and to think he's only 26 too - seems to have been around for a lot longer!
Did they not join in the summer at the start of Partick's last season in the SPL? I remember them moaning us being able to sign them, and then moaning at the end of the season because they were relegated and the SPL changed the rules to make sure they were?
No idea. All I know is he's had off field problems due to family, and is looking for a club in Scotland hence why he asked to leave and find a club in Scotland.
Although his history is of "what if's" but all it takes is the right club with the right manager to get the best out of a player. If we sign him, good luck - if not then fai play hope he finds the right club for him and his family.
Will our Youth's (well Under 19's) have DOB and POB's for me to look at by September - and on an unrelated but related note will LeeAnn Dempster tell me her DOB
If it makes everyone feel better (it doesn't me ) the last time we had a must win that would lead to Europe AND reduced prices we did it by beating Aberdeen. Unfortunately, if I remember right unlike Hibs, Aberdeen were the INform team...
When you add Must Win, Low Prices and against a team with shit form together it looks horrible doesn't it
