  1. Dundee United down to ten men! Paul Dixon is gone.
  2. Possible penalty - must watch Alba for that tonight. Started brightly - come on lads get a goal!
  3. Both don't get glowing references from the Everton fans I have asked. Hopefully if they come they turn out to be as good as The Juke is (Everton fan call the Juke "Juicy Fruits" by the way). The Juke has also supposedly been told he doesn't have a future at Everton and will be sold in the summer - I'm guessing Ruddy will be the same, hence why we have been told no for an extension.
  4. They mention we had a strong team out. If so, and we manage to sign even half of our out of contract players for next season, we must be in for a real shot at the 2nd place next season...
  5. Yeah - it is, I now have them as my Third Favourites
  6. So the fear that Brown was going to bring in veterns so far have been unfounded with us being linked with as far as I have seen no one over the age of 25?
  7. This is correct I believe. The only ones that can be I believe are keepers as they are classed as a Specialist Position. That is why, if you can prove you require a keeper you can sign one on "emergency loan" even if your league does not allow you to sign emergency loans. So if Everton had a goalkeeper crisis then Ruddy could be re-called but the Juke cannot be.
  8. I don't class those as "should" win. Motherwell 11 v 11 should not win every game, even against teams in the bottom half. The games I mentioned was because it was not 11 v 11 and you really "should" win those games.
  9. Not to mention our inability to beat 10 man Aberdeen and Accies and 9 man Dundee United - which were back to back games.... A lot of points dropped where we "should" have won.
  10. To be fair - it wasn't just pundits. Many on here had us relegated despite even taking into the consideration of the losses Falkirk, St Mirren and Hamilton still had poorer squads than us.
  11. None of those will replace Craigan - at this moment of time none could. Craigan, might not be the most skillful, or the fastest defender in the SPL, but he certainly is one of the better ones on his day. Also agree with your post above, 2 year contract for Crags then he'll probably either retire or drop out of the league. I can see him retiring for Northern Ireland (where he is still a star) at the same time. I have a feeling Hutchy when he returns will line up by his side when Reynolds leaves for pastures new.
  12. That's not the whole story The whole run, including the three draws before was shocking, especially when it was against 10 man Accies, 10 man Aberdeen and 9 man Dundee United, those three results you mention and ended with a hammering at home against St Johnstone. Aberdeen won't get relegated this season, unfortunately - maybe next
  13. Not after two games as Celtic and Hibs had 6 points after the Second Saturday, while Rangers joined them on the Sunday.
  14. I quote a Stirling Albion fan... That was posted before Saturday's game
  15. With their game in hand being between each other...
  16. Was it 3-0 or 3-1. FB update says both?
  17. All true, but that was not a positive thing for a few games this season.
  18. Nail. Head. Hit. And I close for now, as it has now gone off topic. See you again for the 2010/11 Campaign thread...
  19. Just waiting for that day? Not bad, you have been for 3 months...
  20. What people forget is, he was dropped for signing a Pre-Contract but then the post split games he was brought back, because Butcher thought he was the man to save them... I wouldn't be surprised if he re-joins Caley either.
  21. A bad habit I get into. Don't worry it will be something else soon A good Mod aye, a lazy one... not so much
  22. Yes we did, Fair Play enters the First Qual Round, and I believe we were the longest lasting team too even though Norwegian Giants Rosenborg were one of them too
