  1. Does that naw just mean you don't go 2-0 'Well with The Juke and Crags as the goal scorers. As for team, same team as Saturday but with Juke in for Murphy.
  2. That is actually a very good read.
  3. Sums it up to be honest.
  4. After seeing it again I am 99% certain he wasn't sent off for the tackle. The ref was reaching for the yellow card before the hand bags began.
  5. I think Ruddy thought the same right away. Watching it on Alba he seemed to have an "oh shit" moment and drop the ball before deciding to pick it up again. Still I think on another day, another referee may have waived the appeals for a pass-back away as it was technically an interception as well. No complaints about it though! As for the sending off, after watching Alba and the incident a few times I still don't think he was sent off for the tackle alone. I see no reason why the referee would have to ask the linesman and then the linesman to seem to answer "yes" if the sending off was for the tackle alone.
  6. I was gonna post that in the match thread...
  7. OK after watching it a few times over... Liam Miller I don't think Miller was sent off for the tackle. I think he was sent of for his swinging arms mainly at Coke and Craigan as the referee speaks to the linesman first. I think without the hand bags he would have only got a yellow. Jim O'Brien Never a sending off! Hand bags doesn't even cover it. Yellow was the correct decision. Others I think Coke is more lucky to stay on the park than O'Brien. Although his reaction I think merited at least a yellow Also, Craigan and Ruddy very unlucky with the pass back. Another day that would have been seen as an interception, although no real complaints other than the "another day" statement.
  8. According to the Beeb - 50/50... possession wise.
  9. I think it's best to wait and see it on BBC Alba (coverage starts at 8pm). According to Weeyin it was a shoe in red card, some think it may have been a red card, while others yellow was correct. Always best to see it before trying to decipher the truth... isn't that right weeyin...
  10. And various people who also witnessed it can't agree if it was a yellow or a red was the correct decision. How about you wait and see the incident before commenting on it, or using to get one up on a fellow 'Well fan, you know like most people that are not at the game would.... Not hard thing to do... is it?
  11. It's Weeyin. He has to be right, you know from witnessing the game from the Good ol' US of A.... As for me, I'll admit I have not seen the incident but will do in a few hours...
  12. 4 points behind Dundee United, and 5 points behind Hibs. Just as important though we're 9 points a head of Aberdeen in 7th.
  13. FUCKING DANCER! I decide not to go at the last minute and we're actually going to beat a team with Ten Men! Dancer!
  14. This - well actually Opening Post .

    Kyle

What I don't get is why do people look at stats and say OMFG yes I'll take him, without taking into other factors - as in how the team plays... Like I said, the only reason Kyle should be considered is if we can't find a goal scorer that can play a bit (like eh... The Juke). He's not a replacement for Sutton as his overall games is quite poor. Not a bad guy to have on the bench though, if we keep the same team next season
  16. Same team as Accies. 2-0, Craigan and The Juke...

    Kyle

I'd say John Sutton's overall play is a lot better than Kyle's. For one Sutton doesn't play for us as a poacher - that is for certain. Kyle would be a good for us, only if we don't sign the Juke.
  18. Spot on, and although I have never had to choose between the two as we've always been in the top league, the National Team would win every time. Because not everyone agrees with it and, shock, horror a Manchester United fan doesn't understand it doesn't make it weird or anything. That's just like me saying picking your club over your country is wrong. There is no wrong answer it is about opinion

    John Ruddy

Don't agree with that. The top 5 keepers IMHO are Casillas, Cesar, Buffon, Reina and Cech, and they are all known at times to do something very stupid - for example Cech has many a Chelsea fan hiding their eyes every time a cross comes into the box. Casillas can go wondering at times, same as Cesar. Although I do agree with the jist of your post, but the world class keepers are known to do some stupid stuff at times although Ruddy is not in the same league as those keepers, and I'll be shocked if he ever is.

    John Ruddy

The only difference between the two is Ruddy can make up for mistakes quicker than any keeper I have seen play in the SPL. On Saturday him and Craigan got in a "you go, I go" which was all Ruddys fault (although the fans around me blamed Craigan ) but because of Ruddy's quick thinking he was able to stop it costing us (although he wouldn't have got the blame anyway) - not to mention the two horrendous flaps at the start of the game. Lets get it right though, the only reason he'll be ahead of David James in the England line up is because James would have retired before he gets a season in the Premier League under him. If he goes back to Everton, he'll go back as third choice - maybe at best their League Cup Goalie. Say what you like about Smith (and IMHO Marshall), until Ruddy has more than one season as a Number 1 Goalkeeper there is no way I'm going to call him world class - I've seen world class saves from League 2, even Blue Square keepers - Smith and Marshall are still the best keepers to spend some of their career at Motherwell - because of the length of time they performed for us.
  21. Ruddy, after 2 very scary moments at the start of game where he flapped for no good reason he came into the game after that. Thought Jennings and Lasley played well in the first half, but the second half was a joke from practically the whole team bar Ruddy.
  22. Paul Lambert played in all of Scotland's World Cup 1998 matches. He had the Squad Number 14.
  23. Is he trying to tell us that strikers like Boyd would have let that go in on it's own without attempting to claim.... who the fuck is he trying to kid?
