The thing is can't do that during the season. As has been seen in the past the Season Ticket Holders get peeved off if Motherwell reduce the prices for certain matches here, there and everywhere as it lessens the saving for them. If John Boyle came out tomorrow and said we're going to reduce all entry prices for Category B & C games (do we have C games?) to £10 per Adult (16-64 year olds) and £5 everyone one else I bet you there will be outcry from some on here because they bought a season ticket, and the saving promised in the letter has had a mass reduction, with some even demanding money back... If they do it at the start of the season, and no other club does, they loose an advantage against the non city clubs, and fall even further back from the city clubs.

Between Las and Sutton for me today, but went with Lasley. Other very good perfomances from Hammell, Hateley and Murphy. Every one else seem to stroll through the game without much problem.
-
We were never at risk from it. What the win does is keep the chance of Europe alive for a month or so at least.
-
Cut it out. Use the fucking topics you have already used. Final fucking warning, as we get it, you were in Albania - who fucking cares! Oh and closed until I find your first phot fucking thread.

Doesn't play in the New Zealand league. Plays in the A(ustralia)-League.
-
Neither would the win against Killie - as O'Brien would either be a. On the bench or b. subbed at haltime

As for Paul Slane, he can't leave for fuck all - we'll get some sort of compensation if the reports are to be believed due to him being offered an imporved contract by the club - saying that there is is enough shite on Paul Slane already on the forum..
-
The transfer rules are actualy quite simply compared to others in the game. If a player is offered a new contract by their former club and is under the age of 23 and he rejects it then that club is due compensation from the club he joins. It will be calculated on the length of service at that club and since he was not a youth product of Shrewsbury (as he was a youth at Wallsall and WBA) I do laugh at the substancial fee. It will be nominal at best. Shrewsbury will need to prove that they offered him a contract which was better than the one he was on.

Eh naw that's not what happened. It's a paying Supporters Club, you know like most Supporter Clubs. So it has the same relavance that Celtic and Rangers have supporter clubs in other countries, but unlike Rangers and Celtic, East Stirlings' ones weren't probably made by ex-pats. Basically if you market something well enough then it doesn't matter what the product is it will sell. So if the SPL Marketing Department, The SFA and the SFL get together and market summer football as the best thing on the box, then it won't depend on how many games are Old Firm games (still could have 4 a season if they did a round robin Regional League Cup) or who's in what league or whatever other sport is on it will still get an audience to match - if not greater than current.
-
So? East Stirling, you know the team in the Scottish Third Division is like the 5th or 6th biggest Club in Norway - having at it's height a supporters club with 6000 members.
-
Did we not have this opportunity with Inverness or someone last year when we had a Wednesday game against them despite both teams being out of the cup?
-
I knew they played summer football
-
No not really. Said it when he was appointed he should be given rest of the season. This result is no different. The only reality to hit home is the fact, once again Motherwell go out to lower league opposition. It's not the first time, and it certainly won't be the last...

Ict Away: Re-scheduled For Mon 18th Jan (3rd Time)

I think that fact Stewart scored he just done the usual journo shite and put 2 and 2 together to get 5! -
Nor I. But I remember last winter people saying oh it was just a one aff, extra cauld winter... this year we just didn't get the cold weather we got snow tae, added to the H&S Brigade on overdrive we had call offs across the country. If the league doesn't change then the SFA will need to look at the Scottish Cup, as in what two seasons we have had 6 attempts or something to play two games. That was added to all the other attempts the Locos had to play the game the round before.

I think Tweed is talking about the fact we can't play against Ten Men - and it was not just a Gannon thing -
To be honest nae idea, although I should remove Australia as they seemed to have changed a few years back to play between August and February... I know Brazil doesn't close down - and to be honest they'll lose at most 7-10 players. Norway, Russia et co. all have a large chunk of their players playing in their National Leagues and they seem to be able to cope every two years.
-
The same thing Nations around the world do I guess? You know the Scandinavian countries, or Australia, or the USA or Russia - and these nations are more likely to qualify than we are

According to the schedule... Not sure if this is Open All Mics only though... -
If I miss either the coverage on Soccer Saturday or the Radio, when the classifies come on I cannot look at the TV. I close my eyes and pray - and tbh, if we don't win then I've seen a few times my laptop be thrown off my lap... although I've seen the same happen when we do... not to mention the wifey being dump on the floor if she's leaning against me. I'm banned from listening to the radio if the wifey is home, as I get "too emotional" and while I have had to buy a new Sky Remote due to watching Soccer Saturday. Face wise, well the missus just said I'm scary at times.

Why? Motherwell Football Club is one of no doubt a few of John Boyles' companies. He no doubt has given Leeann Dempster enough powers to see to things, and if not is contactable at certain times of the day - either through phone, text or conference call. He was on holiday when the shit hit the fan, he was on holiday when Jack & Victor were appointed - nothing says to me that nothing can be done while he's away. Although it seems he is now back. I don't expect him to declare his return to work. He didn't declare he was away, and he doesn't give weekly updates on anything else like that (although maybe, that could be something to look at... could get boring real quickly though...)
-
Malpas is a very respected coach....
-
So what you are saying is, we should not release ANYONE that is not good enough for Motherwell. While because we currently do we should be happy that we're losing players that are good enough
-
Thankfully he won't be going to Celtic - what is being said by some quarters is of their support makes ours look like a Paul Slane love fest If Slane reads this thread and gets upset then there is no future in the Pro game for him.
-
I bet he doesn't since he'll be training with their Under 19's for 2 years. If you listen to Mowbary, anyone who was there 2 years ago - won't be there in two years time.
