Think i'm right in saying we're the only spl team to avoid defeat against any half decent team from outside Scotland so far.Celtic have been pumped in all 4 games including a 6-2 and 3-0 against lower league German teams, same with Dundee utd and Charlton beat St mirren 4-0 today so it wasn't a bad start considering all the player changes as well.

It's so they can save money by not having to turn the lights on.

Don't see Vigurs going going back down the leagues tbh, would be a decent signing for us.Really can't see where this shite about Legia being a big team is coming from, the Polish league is worse than the spl and i'd expect Celtic or any half decent european team to pump them.Chances are they'll not even make the cl groups, hardly a big step up.

While we've done quite well getting to a cup final and finishing 2nd it was more down to having a decent starting 11 and not too many injuries rather than McCalls managerial ability.For me he's an average manager at best, he leaves it far too long to make changes when it's clearly not working and his record in big games is awful but who else is there?Jimmy Calderwood is the type of manager you bring in when you're in a relegation battle and need somebody to tighten things up and give them a kick up the arse, he's not exactly likely to take us forward from where we are just now and as long as we're near the top then there's really no point in changing it.

Higdon didn't have the best of games but our first half tactics were pish.What's the point of having Higdon if we're going to try and play through the middle all the time, Euro teams are always dodgy from crosses and the first time somebody put a decent ball in Humphrey almost scored from it.2nd half was a bit better but we never got it wide often enough.

Was in the pod for 10 past 7 so don't know about that but wtf was the point of moving people from the bucket seats after half an hour? About 20 people who had came in near kick off sat there 'cause there was no stewards to tell them where their seat was and after half an hour the safety officer or whatever told about 5 of them to move before having a convo with someone and letting the rest stay.

Or not unless they can use the 2 ends of the pod.Surely its worth getting 1500 new seats put in, i have no idea how much it would be but would they not make it back after a couple of games?

If we or any other teams go down the shitter then it's the fans who've pushed the clubs into voting no who are to blame.I've stayed out of these threads for a while apart from voting 'yes' to letting them back in because we are fucked if they go into div 3 as are a few other teams.It's fine going on about sporting integrity but the people who run the clubs are far more bothered about the finacial side and all these boycott threats have left them between a rock and a hard place but imo most teams will be worse off financially now that Rangers aren't getting back in.Even more so for Motherwell.I mean does anyone seriously think the WS is going to make that 900k?!

Don't really see an English side as good prep for the cl because that's not likely to be the style we'll come up against, would be better off getting a decent team from Spain or Italy.

We were better to watch the last time we finished 3rd.We've been hard to break down and decent on the counter, most of our success has come from that.We were falling away mid season until Ojamaa came in and gave us a boost but now we're falling away again, hopefully to late to make an arse of it.I've no intention of looking through every team but we probably do get the best atts % to population.There's over 10% at games which probably isn't matched by many teams anywhere.

Agree completely with that. Unless Rangers are not in the spl or are banned from europe then we're not going to have this chance again.I'm 22 and if we miss out this season then i doubt i'll ever see Motherwell in the cl.

If we don't finish 3rd then it's been a complete fuck up, simple as that.We've had a big gap for weeks and we've hit a poor run at the worst possible time and let Utd into it.Nobody can seriously say they would take a europa place, how many times are we going to be this close to the cl? If we don't make it the europa place will be of little consilation.Anyway Hearts won't be as bad next week and i'd expect them to take a point, we'll beat St Johnstone 2-0.

2 wins will be good enough although i can see us going into the Utd game needing to win.If we miss out then at least we wont get a doing in the cl qualifier.

It wasn't a good week and i can see Utd being 2 points behind going into the split but baring a complete fuck up after the split we'll still finish 3rd.2 wins with 1 being against Utd would mean they need to win 3 of their other 4 games, not going to happen.St johnstone have a game in hand but i still think they'll fall away.So we're looking for 2/3 wins from 7 games, surely not too much to ask.
