Great performance today, we wanted it more and didn't let them control the game the way they have against almost every other team.Every player had a decent game or better, sutton was excellent and imo that was his best game for us.humphrey was frustrating as usual, kept getting into good positions and failed to find the final ball but still caused problems.the pitch was an advantage for a change, we played it much better than them and they just couldn't get going.hopefully we can play like that against utd and push killie for 4th.

i'd go with shaka's team although i'd stick jeffers in for sutton.give him a chance to get his fitness up in a game where he's no gonnae get stick from the fans and isn't under much pressure. can't see anything other than a fairly heavy defeat, 3-0 rangers.

holy fuck, this thread has went off the rails today. it was a poor and embarrasing error for a pro team to make but i'm sure it's not the first time a club's been caught out by that ridiculous rule.some people really need to put this in perspective though, some of the posts about how it has disgraced the club are a bit ott to say the least.i might have been a little more annoyed had it been a 'big name' signing but it wasn't and i'm sure the club will get over it.

agree about calderwood, nearly all the players were hughes signings so he can't really be judged till he has a few of his own.our line up pretty much pics itself at the moment with the dwindling squad.not too sure what to expect from the game, probably a pretty nervy, scrappy game that'll be 0-0 or 1-0 either way.other than trying for a top half finish our league season is already over so these games are becoming more meaningless by the week.

1 of the main problems imo is that there's a lot of players who've been going around spl clubs being repeatedly released because they are not good enough, gow being an example.the way forward for scotland along with bringing young scots/brits through has got to involve getting players from the continent who are often on less wages than similar players in the spl and can at least control the ball and pass it 10 yds.
