it's called being professional which is something scottish teams can't understand. they did go a bit over the top at times but it's what most teams would've done.

tbh our luck was due to run out, we were very fortunate in both games against bredablik and the home game against aaelesund could easily have went differently.don't think we were really any worse than the 1st 2 games but they defended better and we just couldnae break them down.imo if you take djemba djemba and utaka out of that team we'd be better than them but they had that little bit extra quality that we didn't.if we'd scored that pen i really think we'd have got another and went on to win it but it's just typical motherwell.very disappointed though against the weakest team we could've got.

The ground will have a capacity of about 10500 i'd think when you take away the ends of the pod and the section of the away stand in front of the away fans so it would be pretty poor stuff if it's not sold out.We got over 11000 against nancy and financially this is more important and we have a better chance of getting through.

Went for Humphrey,always looked dangerous, could cause any team problems if we get through because teams just can't handle his pace.Reminds me very much of lennon at spurs only without a final ball too often.

It was a strange game, we controlled large spells but they looked more incisive.Utaka looked a real threat but they didnae get the ball to him enough,djemba djemba was the best player on the park imo, ran the game for them and rarely wasted a pass although his tackling wasnae great.They'll be the 1s to watch at home but other than that they don't look much better than aaelesund.

It has to be a defensive/counter attacking side we put out.I'd like to think that with cb's experience he'd get the set up right but just don't fuck it up and be out after the 1st leg like celtic and hibs were.Any narrow defeat or better will do, i'd go for 2-1 odense.

The club are obviously trying to cash in on the game and i dought that they'll see there being much difference between our chances of winning with 7000-8000 or 10000+ so it makes sense to put prices up.Somebody isnae very convinced about our chances in the away game with the home tickets going on sale so early, think i'll wait for the away leg before buying and i expect most sensible people will because if it's 3-0 or more for odense then i'm no paying £20.

the wee guy at right back looked decent,quick and always looking to get forward, wee bit small right enough, probably about 5'4.randolph looked decent again for the reserves although the finishing was poor and imo forbes didn't look out of place in the reserves. don't think any of the other trialists are worth a deal.

would it not be an idea to start the season 2 weeks earlier and have a 2 week break in jan/feb?give the euro teams an early start so they've at least played a game or 2 and have a short break during what's likely to be the worst weather,also giving the pitches a chance.

a little disappointing not to get a big side but this gives us the chance to get 3 more home games with at least 1 top team.odense are not as good as nancy or steaua so no point in comparing.i expect they are better than the other teams we've played and will probably play in similar style to aaelesund(direct with lots of crosses).

right when do they go on sale and how many do we get? i expect we'd take a decent crowd considering there's very little chance of the game being on the tele, dundee utd athens and celtic utrecht will be given priority i expect.the ground holds about 15500 i think.
