the best draw for our chances and good to have the 1st leg away.they have some decent players (helveg,djemba djemba,roy carrol) but they're no any better than the OF and if we get to the home game no worse than a goal behind then we have a real chance.

imo if we get odense or zagreb we have a chance, the OF are better than both of them.moscow are probably at a similar level to the OF, villareal and city we have no chance unless they play a very weak side and fenerbache we have even less chance because i expect they'll play a strong team and they are pretty decent at home in europe.the worst draw is fenerbache,best has to be odense.

group stages for the money, even if we lose every game we'd still make plenty of £££ which could be used next season.obviously if the choice was groups and relegated or out and stay up then fuck the europa. anyone have a link to who's in the draw?

for the club it is enough,very few clubs are making any money and if they are just coming out even then they can't afford to make cuts to help a few and risk going bust and leaving 1000s without a team and 100s without a job.there is no miracle cure that's going to leave everbody happy.things like this have a way of working themselves out and if they don't then we're all fucked anyway.

scottish sides tend to be pretty good at home and terrible away as has been shown by aberdeen,hearts and the OF recently so for Aaelesund to go through you'll need to win the home game. i'll feel a right daft arse if they beat us at fp now.

bwin don't have prices to win it yet so i was taking it on the 1s that had prices.totesport has them at 300/1 and us at 500/1 to win it so they must have aaelesund slight favs.

i'm assuming that if they were above us to win it then they must be favs to beat us.

It stats with the players,they are the biggest cost to the teams and unless there was a big reduction in wages no team would risk admin or worse to please the fans.they like most are in a lose/lose,reduce prices and gain a few 1000 extra on the atts but lose money and get worse on the pitch or take the slight reduction in atts and come up with the odd incentive to to get the occasional decent att.those who run the clubs are smart folk(most of them) and they will have thought of everything that would be mentioned on a messageboard so they obviously don't see it making a difference or being in the long term interest of the clubs.imo we ask for loyalty from the club but they are doing the best they can so we need to show them some loyalty and for those who can't afford to go regularly then you'll just have to pick and choose what games you go to and i'm sure if your that short on money then football isn't the biggest worry.so imo the only real way that any club can reduce prices without making huge losses is to lower wage bills and since most players are greedy bastards that's not gonnae happen any time soon so we'll just have to put up with it.

that would be my prediction.if we defend crosses and corners like we did in both games then you'd think a better team with big forwards would take more advantage.think an away goal is very important for our chances and if we don't get 1 i'd be surprised if we go through.

i'd agree that humphrey should start as they'll have to push forward more and leave space at the back and he's due a good ball into the area and somebody to be in there. wtf,i tried to post that on the other thread and thought i'd fucked something up.

why does everbody want a big team?i'd rather we got lucky against austria vienna or odense and look for big teams in the groups + if we get to the groups it would make them at least £3m at a guess.
