Only 2 of the 6 are under 6ft and 3 of the 4 trialists are over 6ft.

It's clear that SR wants us to be a bigger more physical side this season so i doubt we'll be signing any 5ft 6 players.Not a bad thing from a defensive point of view as we were weak in the air last season especially from corners but i'm just hoping we don't resort to pumping long balls at Moult/fischer every game.It didn't work last season and if we don't have players getting up in support which will be difficult with 2 holding cm's then i don't see it working any better this season.

Whilst our defence is more pressing i still think we really need another forward and none have been mentioned recently expect the guy who's on trial and doesn't exactly sound like a proper replacement for McDonald.I could still see us losing Moult late on and scrambling about for a loan in the last week of the transfer window.

If he did i assume it would be as a squad player, can't see him getting near their first team unless they lose 3/4 cb's.There is something to work with, he's a decent defender but his use of the ball is terrible more often than not.That's an area he could still improve on though and he could become a decent championship defender at least although at the moment no, i don't see him playing in the prem.

I'd have thought Tanner is more likely to play off Fisher in more of a McDonald type position unless we sign someone else to play there.If he's playing out wide i reckon Frear will be on the bench.

Not sure that it's inevitable i mean Ross Co, Killie, Partick, Accies if they stay up won't be in a much better position going into the summer.We will lose players it just depends if we can replace them with half decent ones which for every position other than the forwards wouldn't be difficult.I'd be surprised if we're not in the bottom half next season but 8th/9th isn't beyond us with a few decent signings.

If we lose the front 2 we're losing 30+ goals that need to be replaced and we can't rely on Bowman or a youth forward for goals so we'll need to bring in 2 forwards.If we can't find a couple of forwards who'll get into double figures on goals next season then the rest of the team will need to make up the difference or we'll be going down.

We can be safe on Wed even if Hamilton win,if Dundee lose at home to ICT on wed and we've beat Killie on tues then the Hamilton result doesn't matter.

Compare the 2 teams and i don't think they are better, they're a bottom half team with a worse support and not much in it financially they just have a decent manager. Again i don't think Boyce is any better than Moult. We've went from being a regular top half team to struggling to stay up over the last 3 season, not all McGhee's fault obviously but he's had plenty of time and got the players in that he wanted and we're still shite.It's not all about the money, we picked up plenty of decent players from the English lower leagues for free before when we were pushing for Europe every season, his signing from the lower leagues have been shite for the most part.I can't think of one of his signings who's actually improved the team this season.

Everybody who's saying he's doing a good job... on paper the likes of St Johnstone and Ross Co aren't any better than us but they have managers who are doing a good job.We have the best front 2 in the league outside the old firm and had he not signed so much shite behind them we could easily have been a top half team this season.Even if we ignore his pish signing it then comes down to his poor management and decision making.Whether making changes earlier would work or not is beside the point, the fact is he's a stubbornt cautious shitebag who refuses to make changes that everybody can clearly see need made and questions really need to be asked about our training because most of the players look fucked after an hour.How we've done with him in previous seasins is irrelevant the fact is we're in serious danger of going down this season.So yes for me he should go especially if we go on a losing run over the next month which is highly likely.We need some enthusiasm and someone who'll set a team up to have a go and not just defend and hope we score.

Sorry but get McGhee to fvck.Clay and McHugh were and have been useless but no chance of them being replaced in the team since he signed them.Could see it going wrong for us 15 mins before they scored but he just sits there and does fvck all until we go behind.He keeps our best wide player on the bench... again and he takes 4 minutes to get the sub on for Chalmers.4 minutes when we were on the back foot which culminated with our red card, stupidity from McDonald and not the first time he's got a ridiculous red card for us. Rangers were there for the taking every time we played them this season but pish tactics and lets be honest, pish players let a very average team beat us 4 times.If this is our standard then there's a good chance we'll be going down this season and yes I know they're better than Dundee, Accies etc but we've struggled against everybody this season.We have 2 decent players and the rest are either past it or championship level players.

So basically you can only get tickets for the POD stand if you have a season ticket? Pretty poor stuff in my opinion, i've been going to that stand for years and because i don't have a season ticket i'll now need to move even though the 2000 or so seats that they're using won't be sold out.I don't really see the need for such strict conditions i mean it's not a match of the same importance as the playoff so why is it not treated in a similar way to when we play Celtic.

It might have been a bit ott with the fences but it was pretty obvious that there would be a line of stewards round the pitch at the end given that warning fans to stay in the stand doesn't work.It wasn't just last seasons pitch invasion that caused this, I seem to remember about 10 years ago somebody kicked a Celtic player so it's not like we don't have previous.Can you imagine what would happen if we played Hamilton on the last day... Imrie would definitely be making a quick exit anyway.Most other teams in Scotland don't bother with that now and we'll just have to get used to it too.

I would like to see them struggle as much as anyone but lets be honest they're almost certain to be top 3 next season assuming they make a few decent signings and it'll be back to them and Celtic being 10+ points clear within 3/4 years.

Wasn't at the cup final since I was 1 at the time so i'll go with the obvious 6-6.Not far behind would be the 3-0 v Rangers, 4-3 in that replayed Hibs game, 4-4 against Celtic, 3-1 against Celtic, 3-0 against St Johnstone.
