She also had this to say about the metro system "For the game on Wednesday, if you use the metro, you will go on the green line and will get off at "IRINI" station. Olympic stadium (OLYMPIAKO STADIO) is a short walk distance from there. Panathinaikos and Olympiakos fans are pretty fanatic about their teams and you don't need me to tell you that you should keep a low profile on public transport as it is very likely you will all be travelling together for the game.

Where to start on yesterdays game, felt we were a bit rusty throughout the team. Started well had multiple chances but didn't take them (How often have we heard that). When the gaffer made his multiple subs in the 2nd half we came back into it a bit It will take a few games for Tom Hateley to get back to a midfielders mind set although I would like to see us bring someone in for that role and keep him at RB. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who felt that the "Impartial" Guidance document failed to live up to its name, Financial pain either way but heavily weighted in favour of a Yeas vote as the lesser of 2 evils! I read and re-read the document and considered the choice availabe, as there was no "Consign them to history as cheating scumbags " option I had to go for the straight NO option. I could not in all conscience do anything else.

The current income model from the SPL is flawed and directs most of the money to Celtic and What was known as Rangers. Never will be in a better position to redress this balance, there is still much sabre rattling and scare stories to come but we must remain resolute this is our time! No idea about that you'd have to ask the club! Given that I have yet to receive anything other than a welcome letter from the Society this could be a disaster as we have only a week within which to respond.

JBs shares are currently held in trust for when the Society is fully incorporated and under normal circumstances there is a kind of proxy committee managing them in terms of board level. However the overwhelming majority of fans to have expressed an opinion appear to be in the No camp ( not to be confused with the Nou Camp :-D) , No matter which way the vote goes the Board can say "Its the will of the fans"! It may not be perfect however it is the best we have at present. As for your own situation I'm sure many would agree you deserve a bloody medal not just a vote !

It's a fair enough question and I will answer it as I understand things. The Well society is set up to give the Fans a say on major issues, in effect a voice at board meetings and a vote on the major issues. The fact that the cost is prohibitive for some people can be turned around to suggest that people who have taken the decision to join are making a significant contribution to the club as the vast majority are likely to be ST holders also. With regards the Newco situation it's being seen as the only way to allow the (adult)fans to vote irrepsective of what level of membership they were able to afford on a 1 member 1 vote basis as the board were stuck between a rock and a hard place. Given the time restrictions and that many people have not yet renewed their STs it appears to be the best option.

Heard a guy from one of the Aberdeen fans groups on the radio the other day, they put some figures to their chairman (who is an accountant) and he could not fault them. Any financial benefit of having Newco back in the SPL would be negated by just 300 fans not renewing Season Tickets, wonder just how those numbers would translate through the rest of the clubs?

That was my first thought too, and if that is the case then good move from the club!

Lets just hope that when the Club do consult with the fans they look at forums such as this and see the overwhelming opinion of the fans. No to Newco!

I wonder just how the opinions and thoughts of the Fans in this situation will be considered, will there be a letter with a wee tear off slip now given that the club send me letters ahead of OF Games to remind me I can buy an away end ticket when I am a ST holder and have joined the Well Society I wonder about the quality of our clubs database. Perhaps Leeann will start a thread on here and on FP Corner My personal thoughts will be renewing ST next week but continued Well Society membership is in doubt over this!

Based on many of the people yesterday I'd say worth a fiver each, If we could harness even half of those people to attend games at full price we would boost our attendances thus generating more income. Seems like some panties getting all bunched up today.
