I'm not certain if standing at the football is actually "against the law " The Taylor Report as far as I know was never drafted into law , however it is listed in the Stadia regulations set out by the SPL/SFA . No one is contesting that fact/ The situation yesterday was that while the laddies were standing and its against the Rules blah blah blah there was no danger to other supporters, until that is the Storm troopers moved in and started manhandling wee boys. It was an extremely heavy handed reaction which invariably led to scuffles and the Police having to be involved. After that the situation was not allowed to calm down the Stewards and the Police harassed and intimidated the supporters until inevitably it kicked off again. This was easily preventable, don't you think it's odd that things like this only kick off at certain grounds (Aberdeen Dundee Utd and St Mirren spring to mind) and each time the catalyst has been over officious wee men/women who get a hi viz jacket and think they are gods. The Old Filth are allowed to do what they want at away grounds so the "rules" are not being enforced evenly, when I challenged one of the supervisors (the guy with the pony tail) about why this was and why the home fans were standing he pulled out the old "that's someone else's section " cliché and that "the club" had instructed them to ensure our fans sat down. When even the opposing fans are calling into the radio phone in to say their stewards were out of order that tells you something.

An Update From The People's Front Of Judea
East_Stand_Al replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
My fellow Judeans Ask not what Reg can do for you , ask what you can do for Reg ! -
Off on a slight Tangent but I noticed on Sunday we were almost 40 mins into the game before the great unwashed actually sang anything with theit team name in it !
-
Ticket office is open according to twitter and 'fishal site clicky

I know we're going over old ground however when as many people as went to the game on Saturday left the Motherwell area on Sunday to go to Celtic and Rangers games is the bot that really picks my scabs. We are in my opinion highly unlikely to get more than 4-5k for an SPL fixture not involving the ugly sisters.

I'd like to see Daley AND Humphrey playing and possibly McHugh getting a start in place of Jamie Gives us an option of balls in form both flanks for Higgy to get on the end of, it would mean dropping a defender or midfielder though and going with 2 up front which is where the difficulty lies do we go 3 at the back bearing in mind both Daley and Humph have enough pace to get back and help out or bench Las/Jenno.

I'm struggling to find the direct quote in which STEVEN HAMMELL admitted high-flying Motherwell are terrified boss Stuart McCall will quit Fir Park for England. We're doing well and currently splitting the OF is this the start if the negative and unsettling stories from the red tops in Scotland ?

Not getting regular games and not been paid this month , still think it was a good move for you John ?
-
Which are the best pubs for this one pre match ?

Glad I went today good performance from the lads, only the Arbroath keeper kept it to 1 nil. Kudos to the Arbroath first team manager who was there and very vocally supporting his U19s side

Planning to head over do this one and give the boys my support, this is the future 1st team stars. Maybe see the next Keith Lasley goal machine coming through
-
International Break the players have a few days off, Jenno would most likely have been going down the road anyway so Merseyside Police aka "the bizzys" have just gave him a lift home
-
Hey you calm down calm down. They do though don't they though (to be said in your best scouse voice)
-
Remember the law says that guilt must be proven "Beyond reasonable doubt" JENNO IS INNOCENT
-
It would appear you have him banged to rights maybe you should share your overwhelming evidence with Merseyside Police and the Gambling Commission, you do have evidence to support the allegations don't you ? JENNO IS INNOCENT.
-
I do hope that Mr O Reilly has been investigated as part of this shambles, it would be far easier for him to arrange a player being sent off than for a player to get himself sent off. If I were going to ensure I got sent off during a game I'd just put in an OTT tackle on an opposing player early in the game.Jenno was allegedly sent off for foul and abusive language, in reality probably because he had the audacity to touch the referee who as we all know is beyond reproach in all and any circumstance. Lets for the sake of debate say it had been one of the Jambos sent off maybe Zaliukas, with no connection to Merseyside whatsoever would the Bookies still have smelt a rat ? Jenno is a Scouser the bets were placed from the Liverpool area 2+2 = Innocent until proven guilty we as fans should be 100% behind Jenno as should the Club ! JENNO IS INNOCENT

We have a singing section of sorts albeit unofficila, how about an officila boo boy / moany bastard section ? We could locate it on that wee island in the middle osf the Strathy Park Loch !

Starting 11 wil be ..........hmm let me think ...............oh aye Randolph Hammell Craigan Clancy Law Hateley Humphrey Jennings Lasley Higdon Murphy We all know where the weaknesses are however we're 3rd in the league by playing more or less that team so it's tough to argue with it. At least most of the boo boys tend not to go to away games. Might even go to this one loving the atmosphere at away games it seems more people get involved.
-
Probably because they are SUPPORTING the team not screaming obscenities and getting on players backs for the slightest errror
-
this, its all becoming so predictable and other teams have sussed us out we need to change things and some of the morons in the East Stand need to take their heads out of their own arses.
-
Barring an injury next weeks starting 11 will be as it was today, tuesday last weekend........................................ and again barring injury will play for around 70 minutes before any changes are made.
-
At least until we have Hutchy back I think Hammy has to drop back and stay back a bit more, we all know he makes a lot of things happen when he pushes forward and often its great to see but thats partly why Craggs was pulled out of position and fucked up for the first goal last night. We have shown we can move the ball forward by good passing moves so lets go back to that.
-
I don't disagree entirely I just don't see him as that kind of player, he needs someone playing off him. Particularly with the arrival of Daley who looks like he can put a decent cross in as well. Recent performances indicate Jamie Murphy is not currently the answer either.

Michael Higdon all the way gave his all and scored a goal and his penalty.
