OK we get it we lost 6 nil to the currants we don't need yet another thread about it !!!!

So just because we got pumped by the buns its because Mccall is a former player there FFS get a grip people is this the shite we can expect after every game against them, where were all these opinions after the cup semi final ? We were shite we have a threadbare squad of wee boys and old men (in footballing terms) playing against better players simple as that. We were not expected to take anything from that game and other results this weekend have not hurt us so nothing lost other than dented pride. This result can only be put into perspective after the next 3 games if it spurs us on to victory in them then its worth the short term pain. If we lose heavily to Celtic at the end of the month will it be because of some misplaced loyalty to Chris McCart after all many of the current squad were his boys, Or a defeat to Hearts because kenny Black once played for them ? Personally I'd rather Casagolda got a run to the airport, But on to the game they haven't looked too special of late so pehaps we can get something from this. Can't quite put my finger on it but Murphy hasn't quite looked right the past few games so maybe a spell on the banch wouldn't be such a bad thing, as you say he's a young lad and he's carrying the burden of a fair bit of expectation. Not sure about the whole Jeffers thing assuming of course he actually gets clearance and signs, guess we have to wait and see.

Stranraer played us brilliantly, never let us settle were in about us start to finish. They have some pacy players who were ghosting past our 5 man midfield like it wasn't there and a fucking giant of a man in Armand One. Charlie Richmond(Ref) was his usual shite self slamming us but letting the opposition away wtih all sorts, although I thought for certain Hutchy was getting a straight red so sigh of relief there but couldnae wait to book jenno I think it gave him a hard on. Casagolda was shite, Gunning laid on a perfect ball for him and he was a yard short of it then fluffed at a few other chances. Cracking ground though pitch would put a lot of SPL grounds to shame. All in all good day out stopped for chips on the way back and nicked into the Harbour bar at Girvan for a cheeky pint on the way back up. Roll on the draw for the 1/4s a decent draw could see us back at hampden

One of the easiest of the season so far, Steve Jones from 1st to last burst his arse and at times was the only player showing any sign of going for goal.

In the SPL the same players meet week in week out and know all there is to know about each other. When we play teams such as Dundee or Stranraer its fresh and unique only so much can be learned from dvds and watching teams. I reckon if we put in a professional performance we'll run out comfortable winners.

A little harsh perhaps ? Clearly McCall has decided he owes the guy a chance to prove himself although perhaps today was not the appropriate game for that.

Jones could turn out to be a great signing , has a touch of Faddy about him and brings balance to the team.

If only we had someone tonight who could score a goal we'd have been on here waxing lyrical about how fantastic the team played etc. etc. so please guys and girls lets not overlook the positive performances tonight particularly Jenno Las Hammy and Jones (who looks like he could be a great signing ).
