The game and the stadium were shite but at least we got the game on thus generating much needed revenue for the club. Things can only get better.

Alan makes a fair point, we probably lost money with the Hearts game being rescheduled to a mid week, we can ill afford to lose TV Money and although it sticks in my throat the additional revenue from the scum.

MFC have spent a lot of money getting the Pitch and USH issues fixed and in spite of burst pipes in various parts we are putting todays game on thus bringing much needed revenue into the club. Well done to all involved makes you wonder though why some clubs can't seem to mange it oh well thats not for us to investigate.

Irrespective of who we get etc. we should just take a step back and be proud that so many different names of varying reputation and ability are being linked with the job of managing a so called diddy club in a so called diddy league. Am I right in thinking John Gilmour was the wee golum looking pecker who screwed us against the h**s at Fir Park denying a perfectly good goal for offside, as it was the players fault for being too fast ! If so he's running the line on Boxing Day with his fuckwit pal Brines in the middle. Just so you know in advance we're getting fuck all from this game.

Slightly off topic but perhaps if there was a club shop/ticket outlet in the town centre instead of just at the stadium it would help. Obviously costs would be a issue and perhaps the club could come to some sort of deal with Provan Sports involving the unit at FP in terms of rent (assuming they do pay rent for it) that would help fund a town centre shop. A town centre unit where we could have player signings /promo events etc. could help raise the profile of MFC in our home town as IMO its not as high profile as it should be.

Not read through all the posts as the first few were getting on my wick a wee bit, looking at this a bit objectively I would suggest that MFC have taken the moral high ground, they made their point initially and it was well taken up by the media and by supporters of other clubs, now we change tack completely and issue todays statement so now people will see we're bigger and better than a pointless squabble. From where I sit in the East Stand the red card was even more perplexing, he never even looked to see who was "Touching " by the time he turned around the red card was already in his hand and on the way up in the air. Its a noble sentiment and tbh turning our backs on him is certainly not a bad shout, although it would need to be coordinated and it seems some people on here just want to be juvenile and blast out the same nonsense we were pilloried for last time. Am I the only one who thinks CB has done nothing dishonourable/dishonest/disrespectful etc. in any way ? He has been up front in telling us he was approached, he has told them no, they have asked him to reconsider and he has been honest enough to say publicly that he will do just that. At no point has he said he is going anywhere !

This is not helpful in the least, he is still as far as we know our manager who has been asked to reconsider an offer made to him and all he has said is they will reconsider thats not a I'm leaving statement.
