Ladies and gentlemen , As many of you are aware the stewarding in the away stand by a certain steward was very heavy handed resulting in my friends son being ejected. He has subsequently contacted St Mirren who have essentially said they were right to eject him, even though several police officers on the day disagreed and are to all intent "doing a Dougie" If anyone witnessed the actions and would care to comment please post your views here or by all means PM me, I and my friend are obviously biased so would like some thoughts from neutrals,

It seems some people have a moral issue with going to the gameif it goes ahead ,viewing it as "Strike breaking". For clarity its not a strike in the way we view them such as the miners or the fire fighters strikes, these guys are self employed and have taken a collective decision to not be available for this weekend. On a normal weekend not every Ref or Assistant is available hence why they have such big pool of them, all thats happening is they have all agreed not to be available thus showing that "you can't have your game without us", however the SFA have a contract to provide referee cover to the SPL & SFL so therefore the SFA have to bring in outside refs. There won't be a picket line as the Referees Union thats being referred to was no more than a meeting of most of the category 1 refs. I'm a dyed in the wool socialist and if the game is on I'll be there.

On newsnight Scotland Graham Spiers (Known to be a H*N) hit the nail on the head, Integrity FC have been handed a golden opportunity with which to attack the SFA for what it percieves as bias against them, and the Honourable ? Dr. Reid and Neil Lennon are like a Rabid Ginger dog with a bone and will not cease until they give the SFA a bloody nose . If we are to accept the Refs human frailties and that the errors are genuine mistakes then there has to be some way to eliminate these same "mistakes" from happening time and time again. What need then to lie and cover up these "mistakes" ? Perhaps there has to be a structure whereby these "Mistakes" are identified and some kind of remedial training to erradicate them exists all of which has to be done in a transparent and open manner, not covered up and hidden from the people against whom these "Mistakes" have occured.

I get the impression this action is more because of the failure of the SFA to publicly comment on the recent goings on and criticisms of officials, they seem to feel there is a lack of support from within the corridors of Hampden.

I watched a few of the rugby internationals over the weekend and the difference in refereeing standards is quite marked. Whenever foul was given the ref told us what exactly it was given for and then obviously the video ref situations none of which disrupted or delayed the game, the players were treated with courtesy and respect by the ref and vice versa.

This would allow hateley to play RB he's never a centre mid thats for certain, we play so much better when we have the link up play through the middle. We can all see it so the manager must also see it. Also why oh why is Humphrey left isoated on the wing so often it happened with Jim O Brien also, players are toiling in midfield when the player is open on the wing and we don't send the pass.

The wee guy that got chucked out was my mates son, The fat wank told them to sit down and then we got a free kick when loads of people stood up and he picked on him. The police told us they won't be charging him with anything as they didn't see anything wrong but when they are asked to remove someone by the stewards then they will very rarely refuse. I even spoke to this Mark Rodgers at half time and suggested to him that he be more aware of his body language which was aggressive and confrontational and guess how he reacted..............by being aggresive and confrontational. Go figure

I don't think its hypocrisy, we need a balance somewhere between Gannon's letter fiasco and Browns reticence to even hint at dodgy doings. Either certain Referees are biased against us or, are just really incompetent in which case should they be grade 1 Refs ?
