  1. Was tempted to quote several posts to reply to but instead I'll just chip in with my opinion, obviously if we don't get a result on Thursday it all becomes academic. Irrespective of who we face at home I think ST holders should get an opportunity to purchase tickets first, as has been said money put up front. After which priority should be given to those who travelled to the away games in Iceland and/or Norway, the club will have a record of these. Following on from this people who attended both home legs again there will be a record of this thus negating the need for ticket stubs. Obviously there will be overlaps in the above the remaining tickets should go on general sale first come first served in person from the ticket office.
  2. Was in the ticket office last week and was told that the tickets paid by the 4 installments were being processed this week subject to have made 3 payments. Obviously with the European adventures the admin staff have had a fair ammount to contend with, pretty sure they're doing their best to ensure Season books are ready for the start of the SPL season.
  3. And it better no be Hammerfist or Hammerfists agent
  4. I noticed last game the backless seats were cordoned off maybe a UEFA ruling about the seats so that limits things a little
  5. I think its fair to say we'll all feel a bit happier when the done deal is made public. Right now there is so much that gives itself over to specualtion conjecture and rumour, its only natural people are getting nervous, we're 20 days away from our opening SPL game with no known sponsor,(We can't even say for sure if we have a sponsor for thursday) a new kit that can't be purchased and although the team is in way better shape than when Mutley left still a few new signings away from where we want/need to be most notably a right back and a striker. I believe 100% that the deal when announced will make us all sit up and take notice but until then its still silly season.
  6. As has been said, stop the supply force the wide players (assuming they have any) to turn inside stop them crossing the ball to him, and make sure we're first to the 2nd ball if they do get any crosses in. Defenders to jump with him 1 in front 1 behind and make sure he gets to know them personally.
  7. Great move for the lads, which can only be good for us in the future. much as people on here malign him Ross Forbes is a good example of this.
  8. They've sorted it now. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/6354425.stm
  9. Lets just get through the 2nd leg THEN this becomes relevant, unless we do that its all BS.
  10. Have you not had enough ridicule in the thread you started for this ?
  11. I'd settle for a dreary nil nil draw giving us the edge going into the away leg (assuming the away goals rule is in effect at this stage)
  12. Oh dear, is this the level of fishing we can expect for the remainder of the summer ? Its going to be a long wait for the new season
  13. Interesting that no-one has mentioned the weather conditions particularly as the 2nd half progressed, not exactly conducive to silky soccer skills. Have to feel sorry for the Ayr subby who had to put on someone elses wet shirt as they didn't have enough to go around.
  14. So much time, so little football its only going to get worse until the season proper starts and we can all spout pish about the games
  15. Some good stuff at the game today, to Tom Hateley - your alright but yer da's a wank, which fair play to him he took in good spirit even had a chuckle at it. To Bob Mc Hugh- Bob Mc Hugh shags the burds, and shagger shagger gies a wave. Again taken in good spirit with a chuckle and a bit of a red neck. There was a song about Steve Jennings too which was quite good and a song about Murph. Plenty backing for Randolph too. How can I forget the classic you can shove yer Health & Safety up yer Arse, comedy gold.
  16. Have to agree the match itself was not terribly inspiring, but it was a cracking wee day out. Some over zealous stewarding at times but they were told exactly what was thought of their Health and Safety concerns and are probably still trying to solve the case of the missing ball, I was actually asked if I had the ball in my bag and whether they could check my bag, couple of fannies. Oh and who thought it would be a good idea to have Ian (Mr pedantic) Brines as the Ref, he just seems incapable of letting a game flow.
  17. I would have thought any deal would have been in place by now, we are 5 days away from arguably the prime selling time for the new kit, i.e. Europa League home tie and have already missed the boat for pre season friendly sales. Don't know about anyone else but this does not inspire me, as has been said before sponsorship money is crucial to clubs such as ours.
  18. So is it the 12 o clock to AYR or 12:30 to Newton on Ayr the station near the stadium ?
  19. I know the club have told us things are happening, and I do have confidence in them, however I have to admit to being a little concerned that with only 2 weeks until our first Europa game we still have no sponsorship deal announced. Anyone else getiing a little twitchy about this.
  20. Remember at the Nancy game we had those blow up stick things, can we get MFC Vuvuzelas for this one ? Would make for a great (?) atmosphere.
  21. I guess thats what happens when wee diddy clubs have the temerity to complain that the establishment are screwing us over , they just pile the shite on top.
  22. Apparently Ruddy is well pissed off that the toffees have signed the slovakian #1 keeper as there back up first team keeper, pushing ruddy down to 4th choice. He only cost them £250k in 2005 has spent most of his time on loan at various clubs, perhaps a deal can be struck to bring him back.
