Totally agree, I don't think I've ever been so incensed at anyone and all that wee prick does is laugh about it, I would never condone any actual physical retribution but I'm just relieved that he doesn't have to go near the top end of the East Stand I fear he'd get draggedin and never be seen again.

Am I alone in thinking an official communication from the club regarding the pitch is long overdue ? Week in week out the focus is on the state of the park rather than the results it is hindering the teams ability to play good football and makes it easy for teams to nulify technical players like O Brien. A full and frank explanation please , is this the result of penny pinching in the summer ? If so was the saving so significant that it outweighs the costs involved in all the remedial work being carried out now and quite probably for the foreseeable future ? What is the solution , is it simply a case of it will sort itself out after the season ends ? Plenty of questions being asked but a deafening silence in reply ?

I wonder if the vouchers to in my season book are going to be for a special offer where they get in some decent grub specially for ST holders.

Perhaps we need look at what the season ticket gives, getting your seat most weeks if you get in a wee bit early not a problem, the club have tried to add value with being able to hire function suites for free, various discount vouchers for the club shop and catering although we've still to be notified as to what they are valid for. Maybe if its seen as better value the take up will be better.

It seems to me to be a bit of a catch 22, in order to generate bigger crowds the quality of the product has to improve, not just on the pitch but the whole matchday experience. The stadium needs upgrading the catering needs to be better etc. etc. etc. but how do they do this without bigger crowds generating more income ? I see there is a new initiative to screen away games in the cooper bar from the end of this month, that should generate some income and profit hopefully. As for the reduction in gate prices as a season ticket holder I'd rightly be a bit pissed off so there would have to be a trade off in the form of some extra benefit for this season or discount on renewal. There is a thread started by leeann discussing the relationship between the club and the fans which is a very positive idea, I believe the club ues are looking at other clubs and leagues to see what they are doing.

I reckon begining of Feb will see Paw and Erchie in situ till the end of the season, however I think JB will be working behind the scenes with Jack and Victors support to bring in a new manager for the longer term. Their experience ,knowledge of the game and contacts in football and the media will prove invaluable to MFC

Its clearly a subject the guy feels passionate about, dunno about anyone else but I kinda thought that was the whole point of forums such as this.

Maybe something Leeann or Flow could clarify for us, surely the stewards and police are there for crowd control. I'm fairly sure it wont make a differece to crowd numbers right enough but if that is the case its a poor reflection on how the supporters are treated.
