Anyone who was at the game care to grade Mr Brines' Performance ?

Not seen anything of the game but the general consensus here and in the press is that we never really turned up, I just hope JG not letting anyone speak to the press is because he wants to fire them up for the Celtic game, I fear the worst if we turn in a similar performance. C'mon 'Well lets break the telly hoodoo and make the pundits choke on thier criticisms.

The SPL Site shows it quite well too a prime example being Dundee Utd ,the whole of last season 2 reds , this season so far 6 reds. Are the refs being told to clamp down or are the challenges meatier ?

So really our best chance of taking something from this game is for someone to get sent off would be interesting if it were one of ours, we've toiled against 10 and 9 men recently how would we fare having fewer players for say the last 20 minutes ? Have to agree with you there tweed I think riordan will be key to the Hibees getting a narrow victory.

It's another example of how mutley manipulates the press, I'm just surprised at his timing after all we're not playing aberdeen this weekend . It is only the P&J though, I think the Aberdeen manager is contractually obliged to feed them nuggets of shite on a weekly basis.

+2 , considering where we were in the summer many of us would have settled for just staying up,(we were most pundits stick on to be relegated)

If you were at the game today, you will have noticed that when the squaddies came on to the pitch at half time , many of them had thier kids with them several of whom were bedecked in well colours. There are regularly in excess of 8000 empty seats at our home games so wheres the harm in giving away some free season tickets for motherwell supporting troops and thier families. Even if they only spend a few quid at the kiosk or in the shop its all extra revenue, and they may even bring along friends who pay for a ticket or come back for a cup game. The bottom line is it's good PR for the club and another possible revenue stream, no matter wht you think of the military or wars etc. you have to look at the bigger picture ..... ITS GOOD FOR THE CLUB WE LOVE !!!!!!

In his post match comments on the official site the gaffer suggested a forum whereby the referees performance could be reported on. "If Hugh Dallas would like to put in a structure where we can review the video and give an honest view then I would give the referee a mark out of ten. The referee made major errors today and you will then struggle to get a fair result." Lets start with Alan Muir and his Assistant Referees (biggest misnomer ever) who were horrendous. Thier #7 Myrie-Williams was diving all over the place and no action taken, Jim OBrien got his legs whipped from under him went down and got booked for diving. Danny Swanson should never have got a yellow never mind a red card for his tackle. The eejit running the line on the East Stand side looked as if he was asleep half the time and only discovered his flag in the 2nd half. The worst referring display I've seen in a long time . My mark 4/10 ..........your thoughts please.

Like probably most of you I'm loving the possesion football we're playing these days, if the opposition don't have the ball they can't score, however I think we are very guilty sometimes of overplaying and trying to pass the ball into the net. I thought there were several times today and in recent games when a more direct approach would have suited, there is a place for route 1 football. Could this be a factor in why we can't capitalise when other teams are reduced to 10men ?

Over 50 minutes in and we 've managed the grand total of 3 shots at goal 2 on target 1 off target , simply not good enough !

The game is a complete sell out, turned up about half 7 and got turned away by the polis cos we didn't have tickets, none available for either side !

The Omens are bad , turned up tonight thinking would get a ticket and its a sellout, from the stats on the beebs website its all St. Mirren, we're behind on posession , shots and most importantly Goals. Well pissed off tonight
