Regards, Paul Hughes I have responded to him , Paul Thank you for your reply, let me assure you , the chants were not "f****n Bastard " but "Sheep Shagging" bastard which taken in the context of football banter is a remark frequently directed to those who support or are involved with Aberdeen FC , not clear where in the ground you were or if that indeed is a factor in what you did or did not hear , however it cannot have been any closer to the persons chanting this than I was, whilst I appreciate that's not such a good story it is in fact the truth. I have spoken with many fans of both Clubs who all agree this to be the case, as for the paedophile chant the vast majority of motherwell fans find that to be abhorrent and indefensible. Most people agree the paedo chants were wrong and we have attracted a lot of bad press for this , however for so called Journalists to report lies is an utter disgrace, I have emailed the sun about this and don't expect a response. dont ever buy their pile of crap not even as a bog roll substitute but lies like that could have consequences for the club.

That was my first time in Pittodrie and probably my last, felt like we were cattle (or maybe sheep) being herded into a pen, big fences either side of the approach to the turnstiles and then penned into a wee corner of the stadium. Not very hospitable at all, and whilst I'm on my high horse the pies and cheeseburgers were shite too. Here endeth the rant

Most of the chants I found really funny , shite tony mowbray, fat celtic reject etc. Even the Jim Leighton stuff ,but the peadophile one was way OTT, very poor taste and unecessary. Although have to wonder why the home fans didn't boo or make any noise they could easily have drowned it out a more dour faced inanimate bunch I've yet to see.

There were a right few good performances, big ruddy looked comfortable though to be fair had little to do. Crags mostly excellent, coke brilliant , forbes usual terrier like self. For me I felt Jim O'Brien was the man who most looked like creating something. Long way to drive for a nil nil draw but not too dissapointed

Just a shame Jim O Brien didn't get what would've been a well deserved goal to top an otherwise for me flawless performance. Other than not keeping a clean sheet and the obvious need for another striker difficult to find fault with anything today (but I'm sure some will find it easy).

Brilliant thats kinda the whole point of having a youth system and probably why the young guys are getting their chance in the first team.

I was on P&B this afternoon, and there's a thread about the opening game It strikes me that most if not all of the Midden/Killie types are basng thier opinions on last season not having seen any of our recent games only the results. At risk of being overly optimistic I think we could be the dark horses this seaon, although I'm sure the other SPL bosses are not as naive or introspective as their fans. My prediction for game 1 :- St Johnstone 1 'Well 3

Tell him to chuck Robin van Persie in as part of the deal, he's out injured just now so they'd need to pay his wages till he's fit , or Theo Walcott after all Gannon says he's not as good as slane so we'd be doing them a favour

Just think how effective that could be if we can bring in a good centre forward/attacking midfielder to get on the end of these and link up with Murph, goals galore.

People would actually pay proper money for them ?
