We need to replace Clarky, his absence tonight was more than obvious , Sutton can't jump, can't header a ball with power caouldnae hit a coo on the arse with a banjo.

Yet again for me Jim O'Brien was outstanding tonight at times seemed to be the only playe capable of creating anything

I was also there as usual and he seemed to be the only person capable of creating something , almost every attacking move went through him and he seemed to realise way before everyone else that high balls into the box was not the way to play against a team who packed the defence and won just about every ball that came across from the flanks with big defenders and confident goalkeeping, more often than not he beat players and worked the ball into the danger area by playing football. He certainly did not hide in any way shape or form, at times it was Jim O Brien v AFC Llanelli. You can't possibly blame him for the fact we had no end product there were another 10 players out there tonight.

What game were you watching ? O'Brien was probably our best player tonight!

I reckon we'll possibly get to use the faclities at the new motherwell college campus ,remember as well though the new regional sports facility is being built up at the craig, maybe get a wee shot of that when its built

We obvioulsy have a Europa League match on Thursday which may make the decison more difficult, perhaps he feels that he'd like another crack at european football or feels it would be a good way to sign off (the 'arc slang term for Fir Park our home ground)

I can only echo these sentiments ,will be gutted to lose him but he will leave with my eternal gratitude and best wishes for his future , canny wait to see him and faddy back I'll be an old man but that would be worth watching .

I have to belive there is a plan in place although I'm not 100% convinced, else we could lose 3 -4 first team players from an already threadbare squad.
