Clarky for 2 reasons He'd walk over hot coals to knock his pan in for the 'well The media canny refer to him as the Ex rangers player. -
I better watch out when I go up to get my season book in case someone links me with the managers job
-
If its to be a million we better get on wi it lol

Have to agree with most if not all of that, There is something exciting about Nijholt if he were to get the job, anyone who is part of a team that wins the Eredivisie by 11 points and 11 goals has to bring something to our club

Got a call today to let me know mines are ready for collection , worth calling the ticket office folks

There is without a doubt a solid platfom to build upon. but there is a hell of a lot of building work needing done, hopefully funds will be found from somewere for a few new signings and some investment in theyouh programmes

Who is London Irish ? He came onto the boards on 27/12/2008 and almost all of his posts seems reactive to criticisms of Mark McGhee in some way , Is he McGhees love child or perhaps McGhee himself http://www.steelmenonline.co.uk/forums/ind...sult_type=posts

Well at least the £250k compensation can cover the cost f the new pitch, freeing up some cash to give to luc nijholt for players

Whats the deal with all this "Excellent Club Servant " pish, fair enough first season was brilliant but we were an unknown quantity for a time, playing a different way from previous seasons we got to flirt with europe very briefly. Season two mid table obscurity some really shite performances( St Midden several times, The ammies again several times Killy away , Falkirk away to name but a few) ,strange team selections (St Midden in the cup), no doubt borne out of not being around on a daily basis. Don't get me wrong we enjoyed some good times too but "Excellent Club Servant " yer havin a laugh.

So Leitch wants to go to the Sheep Pen and take the training do the day to day stuff whilst that man(cant bring myself to use his name) gets the big salary and fucks off down to brighton for most of the week. I'm sure after a season or two of that even Real Madrid would be hard pressed not tobe beating a path to his door big fat cheque in hand WANK

All of this combined with his spouting pish about the aberdeen job being 3rd best job just shows what kind of slimy wee barsteward he is , the sheep are welcome to him but he will shite on them just as easily

Oh good grief has this man no shame at all? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11781_5376937,00.html "New Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee has admitted managing Celtic would have been his first choice, had his Parkhead application proved successful. He said: "Aberdeen fans know that in Scottish football on a scale of one to three you have Rangers and Celtic and then Aberdeen comes in third. "I think that any player or manager has the right to want to play or manage at the best club possible. "I have looked at that opportunity, I didn't get that job but I then moved on to come to Aberdeen quickly with a total positive feeling and a total commitment. The former Motherwell boss revealed that he decided to join the Dons before being told by Celtic that he would not be the man to replace Gordon Strachan." So what he's saying is that this job is his consolation prize , that will surley endear him to the fans. Now I'm sure the official announcement said that we were approached by Aberdeen some time on saturday http ://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/index.php?op...amp;Itemid=133 McGhee explained: "I sent Willie Miller a text last Friday to say that I was at a stage where I was prepared to speak seriously about coming to Aberdeen at the exclusion of anything that was happening at Celtic. "I didn't actually know that I hadn't got the Celtic job until the Saturday morning. "I had not received any unofficial word from Celtic, it was just at that point I was worried about losing the opportunity of coming to Aberdeen so I sent Willie a text. I hope that reassures a few of the fans." He's been whoring himself around again , clearly he put himself forward for the Celtic Job first , is this why there has been no activity on signings and contracts , wee chesney tipped him the wink that he was chucking his job at the end of the season.Any respect I had for the man has gone and don't even start me on leitchy.

The Press and Journal have reported for the past 2 days that "the wait is over" how many conecutive days can they rehash te same story ? http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/SectionPa...rt/PJAberdeenFC

MJC puts it far more elequently don't you think , NAIL HEAD HIT though.
-
I reckon he's hedging his bets, Sellik are stumbling over compensation for Mowbray and he probably reckons still got an outside shot at that job.
-
At least they're being honourable about it, would anyone rather they took the money and then went bust and gave you the Barry Ferguson salute when you try to get your money back and get 10p in the pound from the administrators
-
My main concern is that BskyB will swoop down like the vultures they are and pick up the broadcast rights for peanuts, wouldn't be the first time this type of scenario has happened with scottish football.
-
I see Luc Nijholt is by far the fans favourite. Lets put aside the sentimentality and romanticism as I've been openly critical of Mark McGhee for the same , Why would you like him as Manager what benefits do you think he'll bring to our club ?
-
"Willie forged a reputation as a reliable, speedy and cultured full-back who skills from a dead ball were noted at the time." "Kilmarnock was called upon to clear three Dundee efforts from his own goal line." "he sent a 40-yard strike rocketing into the net and the other, similar in style, against East Fife at Hampden Park in the Semi-Final of the 1955-56 League Cup." What we wouldn't give for a payer of that calibre in the modern game , clearly a fantasticaly talented footballer. Condolences to Family and Friends let your love and pride for him help ease the pain of his parting. R.I.P.

Agreed , he now has a platform to build on and deliver a top class gaffer
