OK then beat St Midden and Hibs need to beat Rangers, I think the Club should run some kind of promo prices the more people cheering on the well the better. I wont even moan about my season ticket value being impacted upon

Match Stats are very interesting , bulk of the possesion loads of shots and corners no end product. (Home side first) Possession 57 % ---- 43% Shots on target 9----4 Shots off target 6----6 Corners 12----2 Fouls 4----13

Finished at 1-1 not a terrible result for us , need to beat Saint Mirren and then squeaky bum time , loathe to say it but is the pendulum swinging back towards us ?
-
Typical Brines, Saints still pressing and IMO better side right now Hibbees almost scored an OG
-
Its around this time of year Club start looking to Season Ticket renewals we may not even make top six never mind Europe, will that be a factor ?
-
I think we'll see a sharp decline in numbers both home and away
-
A draw is still OK irrespective what happens unless Midden win we need to beat them comprehensively which is the worrying thing for me. As it stands goal difference is -4 canny see Hibs losing to rangers by a huge margin 1 maybe 2 goals of a difference max. Our turgid winter may yet cost us a top 6 place.

Having watched the last 2 Rangers games on TV I'm confident we can take something from them. Stop the wide players getting down the flanks and cutting back to Boyd ensuring we don't lose an early goal. Both games Rangers dominated the 1st half but mostly defended the 2nd half, the great unwashed will get nervous and turn on the players forcing them to push forward and leave spaces. Alexander does not look convincing to me, is McGregor banned for 2 weeks or 2 Games ?

Would agree entirely with this particularly the touchline, when Clarky got fouled leading to Considines red card it was a total mud bath, Clarky thumped the ground in frustration and got a face full of mud for his trouble. Athough pre kick off the pitch did look markedly better.

The manager said in his interview after the game said it was a point gained, I disagree entirely it was quite possibly the most important 2 ponts lost this season. From the BBC site Motherwell manager Mark McGhee: "I think it's a point gained. Maybe on the balance of the game we should have turned it into a victory. "We've played well and with good energy at this stage of the season, which bodes well for the last seven games. "I think with two games to play we're still in the mix for a top-six spot. "We've Rangers away and St Mirren at home and I think four points will give us that top-six finish. "If we make that we'll still have a chance of making the top four judging by the way the points have gone. "We know we still have some work to do but given the problems we had in December to be on the cusp of the top-six is still not a bad achievement." What does everyone else think ?

Was a def foul Tweed Clarky was going past him like a fast going past you thing and Consadine cut him down then called the linesman a wee dick ! It was right in front of me so I had a great view of the foul and Clarky thumping the big muddy puddle that passes for a touch line I gree though Ref was very week

I'd like to hear opinions on the following ! 2nd Half why did we have 2 players marking Aluko and then seem to back off players to allow thier goal ? How come Clarky was bogging from head to toe and yet sutton always looked like he had a brand new shirt on ? Why was Clarky subbed, did he pick up an injury ? (wouldn't be surprised he got kicked all over the park) Why did McGhee wait so long before changing things When they went down to ten men why the hell could we not capitalise on that Who told John Sutton he was a Striker? PISH UTTER !

We need to take something from the Rangers game , everone behind the ball and defend like fuck for 90 mins sneak a point, after all drawing seems to be what we do !

Flow will have you copyrighted lol Tweed is a registered trademark of Motherwell FC

I think we might need to take something from the Rangers game, depends how the Hibs go up at tanndice but at least its the ealy kick off so we'll know before we start on saturday.
-
Spot on mate , sad to say though that amidst all the hoo ha about our pitch, the areas down both wings near the coners are the most lush. Week in week out we play so narrowly , 9/10 times whn one of our players get the ball in wide areas they turn inside making it easier for defenders to crowd them out.

I don't think we will ever see the OF play elsewhere and unless some kind of restrictons in terms of transfer fees and salary to level the field is introduced then same shit different day. That imbalance is the main issue I think, we have 10 clubs pushing for 1 european place from the league and a good cup run becomes vital. Until we even up the score in terms of revenue then clubs such as ourselves have to either work wihin our limited means and accept the situation or end up in masses of debt still unable to compete, unless of course the so called fans if these clubs who support them based on what school they went to, wake up to themselves and come back to their local clubs then we need radical measures to increase the fan base, this is where the current initiatives of trying to attract the weans has to be applauded and backed to the hilt.

I'm starting to see a pattern here in your recent posts

I'd much rather we were in our current situation than be scrapping for SPL survival !

I've got my rants out my system and sum up saturday thus, It was a shite game some of the gaffers substitutions raised more than a few eyebrows but then none of us are experienced professional football managers. Results elsewhere did us no harm at all Top 6 is still on the cards Lets not lose sight that the season still has a fair bit to go We are 'well fans we get right behind the team again and encourage them to hump Aberdeen (was gonna put hump the sheep but I know what you lot are like ) That is all
-
At least results elsewhere today didn't do us any harm, beat the sheep n a fortnight and the Dundee Utd. V Hibs game will take care of itself.
-
Definitely felt that we were set up not to lose as opposed to go out and win which for me was very dissapointing. Kilmarnock were there for the taking today. Sutton gives up far too easily for my liking and why he wasn't hooked for clarky at half time is beyond me, Mcgarry on for Sheridan was very confusing substitution. First half the front two were Isolated needed one of them to drop deeper and create something , when Clarky came on I thought yes 4-3-3 out and out attack but didn't happen. Klimpls blooter towards goal was only a fag paper over. However a point is better than nowt I suppose

couldn't in all conscience give it to anyone , poor as I've seen all season with the possible exception of accies away

What he said ! Highlight of the day a Steak and Haggis Killie pie says it all really.
