  1. I may drag Paul along for good measure!
  2. Just curious as to how many 'Well fans are in a similar situation. I have a thursday camping ticket for T and all my mates are heading up on the Thursday afternoon. Anyone fancy heading to a boozer in Kinross to watch it?

As much as I like the new top, I still prefer last year's strip.

In fairness, all we have heard is how professional CCC are and how all the problems regarding delivery etc from before are over... ...I will hardly lose any sleep over it though. What are the tops like size wise? are the bigger smaller or the same as the bukta ones Dave?
  5. Sounds like another Maurice Malpractice to me... I'm sure Crags will have had enough dealings with him at international level to be able to advise JB accordingly.
  6. Wouldn't read anymore into it than what has been said already, they have just lifted that from the Sunday Herald.
  7. Wonder if Leitchy could be swayed of going to aberdeen as mcghee's assistant if the 'Well job was offered to him with McCart as his assistant. There was a lot of talk at one point of Leitch being groomed for the manager's job. Tony Adams?
  8. Aberdeen may be a side-step career wise, but as Mcghee says it is a step up in regards to what the job means to him. Imagine if you played for Aberdeen and Motherwell wanted to sign you, you would jump at it-despite how it may look like a side-step. I will be sorry if he goes as the gaffer has done a tremendous job with the team and was always genuine and upfront anytime I had to speak to him. However, I think we knew early on in his first season that his eye was always on bigger and better things, no matter what they may be. Despite this, his commitment to the club for me isn't in question. McGhee has steadied a sinking ship, which was no easy task. We are now on a firm footing on the park as well as off it when other "bigger" clubs are crumbling around us in a haze of duff football and dire bank balances. If he goes I wish him all the best (within reason of course!) and hope that we can use him as much as he has used us as a springboard to bigger and better things. Scott
  9. aye saw Ryan was in River City about a month ago. All three brothers look alike to be honest!
  10. I think in light of what is going to happen with Setanta, I think our chairman better keep his hand away from his wallet for now.

in light of practically every person on here saying they would have preferred claret or white shorts rather than the ones there, and also the fact we will need a change of shorts anyway, is it too late for MFC to alternate to a different pair of shorts for this season? Appreciate the effort that has gone in and il be buying it anyway no doubt, but would prob get a few more coffers as a result.

2nd rate advertising campaing? What are you expecting, ads during the break in corrie? Aye it is a bit drawn out, however the reasons beyond the inconsistancy has been explained already. Many may be feeling a bit put out because they maybe bought a proggy expecting a bit more than a half page ad sized photo that showed, well, pretty much nothing to go on. Atleast a big deal is getting made of it. And so there should be. Like it or not, strip sales are a MAJOR part of the clubs income.
  17. that's t in the park weekend for the second leg. baws! t in the park can go fuck . a nice wee jaunt over to Ireland or down to wales would do nicely!
  18. Surely our excellent behaviour in Nancy (baring one or two eijits) should go in our favour.
  19. Thanks for all the help guys. doubt this story will ever see the light of day (for various reasons!) but help as always appreciated.
  20. ye can tell its a bank holiday! A motherwell spokesman said....
  21. Hi guys. On trial for a week at a news agency and a story has been sent in about a town in south africa called Motherwell that is going to be used as a practice ground for the 2010 world cup. The ed is looking for a few quotes from well fans at the prospect of world cup stars playing on "Motherwell's surface". need a couple of comments asap. If you could pop your name on the end as well. just pop it on here. Thanks in advance guys
  22. I would have thought it would have gone down to a head to head in fixtures? Which if memory serves me right are: Hibs 0-1 Motherwell Motherwell 1-4 Hibs Hibs 1-1 Motherwell Surely they would edge it?
  23. for fuck sake don't go on saturday! I will renew if I can afford it. Finally managed to a season ticket seat that I love, would be renewing just to make sure I had the same seat.
