Drop me a PM and I will sort you out. Mind and send me your card details so I can give them to the club when I sort it. Address also and I will post it first class tomorrow.
I agree to an extend but you need to have some experienced players to help the young lads develop. I think you would be surprised by the level of positive impact on our up and coming players having someone like McFadden around.
I'm buzzing for Sunday! I just hope that we perform to our best on Thursday so the tie on Sunday is meaningful. Going to be a cracking atmosphere and will be nothing better than keeping them down.
For weeks I have been convinced we are going down but the closer I get to the match the more I think we might just pull this off.
Giving it some thought we should go with:
Long
Ramsden Laing (if fit) McManus Hammell
Ainsworth Grant Lasley Pearson Johnson
McDonald
Would allow the 2 wingers to go and support McDonald. Would allow Grant to be in his rightful position too. I can see keeping it under 2 with that team in the first leg....
Without a doubt TV has impacted the number of people who actually go to the games. Which is another reason why we shouldnt be looking to lower the attendance further.
I hate Sevco as much as the next man but it would be unreasonable to shut out people wanting to watch their team when their are thousands of empty seats.
Correct decision by the club.
If we could have 12,000 'Well fans in the stadium then my opinion would be different. There is not a chance in hell we could get close to that number. Give them the South Stand and hope we can do enough to sell out the rest.
My view isn't going to be popular but how would we as 'Well fans feel if we were playing such a massive match away from home, were given no where near enough tickets for our support and the home club had 6000 empty seats in their end that could have been used?
It's a spectator sport.
I think the comments on Twitter were more around the question of Season Ticket prices. I believe (I obviously wasnt there) that he said something along the lines of not being willing to pay the same prices in the 1st Division and the response was short and direct by telling him not to bother buying a season ticket.
I do like a direct approach but the above is not really the type of response you would expect.
According to some Twitter comments, it doesn't seem that Les is impressing too many people.
Maybe the direct approach isn't the best for every situation!
Pretty much spot on. We need to make ourselves hard to beat away from home, especially in a 2 legged play off. We take a beating at home then the tie will almost certainly be over. 4-5-1 with Ainsworth and Johnson going forward to support Erwin (assuming McDonald is suspended).
As much as I agree with what you say, I reckon we have left it too late to change things. We should have done this weeks ago and had the old head in to make us hard to beat.
Out of interest, did you have anyone in mind?
I suspect that he will end up joining Morton in the Championship. He done really well for them on loan this season and suspect that will have been lined up before he agreed his release from Aberdeen.
Baraclough mentioned in his interview that the club are not far away from agreeing a new contract with Erwin. Very good news as he will be key next season, no matter what league we are playing in!
