Jds is not the same pub as it was 10 years ago. Way downhill in the last 3 to 4 years. The new owners have tried hard and suppose we will see how it goes.

Indian football is of a poor standard but they are hammering money into the Super League. I watch the I-League champions at the weekend (think its about a level below the Super League) and it was terrible standard. He plays with Pune City in the same team as Jermaine Pennant and David Trezeguet.

He has got a good burst of pace and will run in behind and down the channels. To be honest I think he was good without being much better than that. He is better than what we have at the moment but if I was a United fan I wouldnt get too excited as I think you probably already have better at the club just now.

Paul Quinn signs an extension with Ross County until May. Feel we missed out on this one. He done quite well down south with Doncaster and was quite well liked playing centre half (a position that we are not in a great position in!). Also being a local lad would surely have opted for a move close to home than up in the highlands. Hopefully get a signing or two in soon.

Was Anier really that good? Ok he is better than what we have at the moment but I think he was a bit over rated.

Solano appears to be involved with some Canadian semi pro team as a was coach. I would be shocked if he is a serious contender for he role. I'm also not buying this South American buyers rumour either! The betting market is wide open. No one has any real idea of who is going to be appointed. We showed absolutely nothing going forward and restricted them. Better but need to find a balance.

In my view, he has got two matches to save his job. The standard of performances are just not good enough. I do however think that he will be stubborn and stick it out until the end of the season when his contract is up. We can't afford to sack him as we don't have two brown pennies to rub together! I really hope he turns it around but I have serious doubts. He just doesnt show the level of desire and looks lost.

Motherwell are just not as important to me as they once were. For years a defeat like yesterday would have left me annoyed till Mon/Tues but in the last year or so I just don't feel the same. I was over yesterday's farce before my lamb tikka had arrived. We need a fresh approach as McCall has gone stale. I don't expect the same level of finishes under the new manager but we need a kick up the arse! I'm heading off abroad for the next 12-18months and I initially thought it would be difficult on a Saturday. Don't feel te same and can say that I won't miss watching sub standard football, in a dive of a stadium with players who couldn't really care about the outcome!
